As many of you know, I have a site at http://www.donteverforget.com. This was my small way of honoring those that lost their lives on that horrible day(9/11). Living about 20 miles from the World Trade Center and losing several people I knew, it really hit home for me. I felt I had to do something, as little as it may be.
Anyhow, I rarely receive any emails from visitors at that site but today I did get one and I thought it was pretty interesting.
I am not posting this to start a flame war or start an argument, this is just one person's view and I thought it was interesting:
"I am Canadian and I am ASHAMED!
I am ashamed of the lack of support our goverrnment shows and gives your great country. I use to be a proud Canadian but now me and my family wish we were proud Americans. The following is a note I wrote myself in case I forget:
On Tuesday, Sep. 11, 2001 at approximately 0800 hrs Rosie and myself showed
up at her Doctors office to check up on the still unborn Johnathan. It was
approximately 0915hrs and we still had not seen the Doctor. We were just starting
to get frustrated when we heard the devastating news about the terrorist attack on
the World Trade Centre in New York City. I was DEVASTATED. I am writing this reminder
to myself of where I was when I heard the news, (not that I think I will ever forget)
and even though 11 days have passed I still want justice in the form of a deadly military
assault against bin Laden and his Taliban supporters in Afghanistan by the Mighty American
War Machine with President BUSH at the helm.
GO BUSH GO..........AND MAY GOD BLESS AMERICA
PS: THANKYOU AND PLEASE FORGIVE US WE ARE NOT ALL ASSHOLES UP HERE.
Sincerely XXXX (name removed) a humble Canadian"
