Soul Assasins asked if we could add the OGL Blood MOD to our Goodfellas server....
Ask and you shall receive!!!
We now have the mod installed. You can download it and use it the next time you log onto the server. You must use Missionary for the auto-download to work.
If there are any other MODS that any of you would like to see, post them here and we'll see what we can do!
Also, you do NOT have to use the blood mod if you don't want to. Any MODS that are added to GF will be optional.

Remember the optional sights? What about them? Also, what about the Grand Master rifle scope for the Springfield '03 or is that a Bart question?
I've played with the blood mod once; I thought it made everything look messy.

i dont think anymore custom shit should be on I dont even like the blood mod..

Really not a big deal. If you don't want to use a mod, you don't have to.

That's what we're talking about. Missionary has approved optional sights, like that red dot you got kicked for using.

they are 100% legal to use
you can see the rules (if anyone thinks they are illegal you obviously need to read them =P)
but i think it would be a good idea
if you don't like it
don't use it
its an option
and that is what an option is.
they actually come in a zip file with the approved blood mod at the ogl site.
There are a slew of OGL approved mods... they are:

The *.pk3's are already in your Missionary/files/sights directory. I need RD to expalin if we can actually use them with the current version of Missionary.
What would really be cool is some way to look at each *.pk3 without having to load the game each time (Hello Druid).
ML

PS: After seeing RD's post above, perhaps I downloaded them previously. Anyway, they end up in the above directory. RD, how about a way to view them easily?
realdeal

First, you won't be able to use them on our server because only the blood mod has been approved (by us) to be used on the server.
As for how to view the other ones, that's easy....
DDDRRRUUUIIIIIDDDDDDDDDD!
You can use winzip to extract the crosshair.tga file to a temporary directory.
Then view the crosshair with any graphics program that supports .tga files
If you don't have a graphics program which supports the TGA format, there is a nice freeware one called IrfanView.
You can download it here

Sorry I wasn't more clear MonaLisa,
After you extract the file sites.zip you will have 54 .pk3 file.
You can use winzip to extract the actual sites from each .pk3, then use your graphics program to view the sites.
A .pk3 file is exactly the same as a .zip file, just the extension is changed.
BTW anyone needing a program to view TGA files, there is a copy of IrFranView with missionary. It's located at C:\Missionary\files\I_view32.exe
I've got no problem allowing people to use the approved sites that comes with missionary. We just need to get in touch with Bart and have him make the change in the next update of Missionary.

I'm sorry Druid, but I still don't get it. I can use WinZip to convert the pk3 to a zip, but I don't see how to end up with a viewable *.tga.
ML
I am not sure if Winzip can do it. I use a program called WinRar which is 10 times better than winzip.
Check your PM.
Change the extension from .pk3 to .zip. When you're done, just zip it back up and rename it to .pk3.
