I was actually posting this trying to find out what happened. Why Mob was dropped to 7th on the ladder from second.

I am sure the reason has something to do with Missionary though.

Any one care to explain the drop in rungs to #7?

RD didn't pick a date and time, his internet was out and he missed the deadline by 12 mins.

I was going to respond to this once I heard back from the Admin.... but I haven't yet. They may allow the match to go forward but I doubt it.
I'm not sure I understand the drop in rungs though. If you forfeit your supposed drop down 5% of the total rungs on the ladder. There's 15 teams on the ladder... 5% of 15 is .75..... but we were dropped 5 rungs... maybe it's me.

well thats why you should have more than 2 co leaders , to back you up incase if you cant accept or confirm any match..

Actually, I just heard back from OGL. It appears that someone hacked the OGL site and made us forfeit. I spoke with my ISP too to find out why my internet was down. Turns out somone hacked into their site too! Weird thing was, only my ip was affected.

Whats really strange is I've seen several forfiets where there was no drop in rungs.
In fact just a few months ago someone was complaining about an OBJ team that had 3 forfeits in a row with nothing done about it.
Yet here is MOB with the 1st forfeit in 2 years and we get dropped 5 rungs??

Hey, it's all good. So MOB has to take a few more weeks to be #1. At least it will happen with a new team and no excuses. It will be good for MOB to show that it can take the top spot with any group and not have to rely on certain players. This could end up being one of the best things to ever happen to MOB. It's about perspective.

Ok, I got the reason... THIS is classic..

"MOB is suspended for 7-days, MOB Regs is suspended for 7 days, both teams have been dropped 50% rung loss on the ladder, Real Deal and maniac69 (same person) are suspended for 14 days due to multi-clanning and competing in the same ladder. After the suspension is over one of these aliases must be deleted. OGL rules state that you may belong to 2 different clans but cant compete on the same ladder. This was discovered after MOB requested Smokin and myself look into a system generated forfeit."

LMAO... I replied back asking them if this is a joke. Maniac69 was added to the regs team so that I could get emailed of the dates/times of the regs matches and add them to the forum calendar. Maniac69 never played in a match. This was done purely for innocent reasons.

Got my reply from Grunt:
"It doesnt matter if you (Maniac69) never played a match, you cant be on 2 seperate teams on the same ladder. My decision still stands. You may appeal my decision to the League Official "

"This is to appeal the suspension of MOB for "multi-clanning". MANIAC69 was placed on the REGS team so that I could get the emails of their match dates and add them to our forum calendar. That's it. MANIAC has been on that roster for over a month and NEVER played in a match. If MANIAC was on their roster for any other reason, don't you think he would have played in a match by now? Guys, this was a totally innocent misunderstanding. MOB's been around OGL for a long time now. The longest on your MOHAA ladder. This ladder is dying. We need to try and keep it going, not try and kill it further with rulings such as this one. Please reconsider the decision."

This is crazy I must say. I think they could see this was just an innocent act and let it go. The best thing I think you could do is get Epacy to talk to the OGL for you. Epacy and the OGL seemed to always have a good raport. HEHE J/K

We at TLD want the match and if it takes us telling them so we can. I cant understand why they can not see this.

If it was me I would approach the problem this way.
The ladder is really about the teams playing an what they want.
This is what OGL seemed to forget a long time ago.
I would contact the other teams and ask them to contact Grunt requesting he overrule his decision.
Leave it up to players, if they think it was an honest mistake, then contact grunt.
If they don't, then don't bother.

Maybe it is time for MOB to leave, it not like it would make a huge difference, all it really would do is hasten the inevitable.
Is there anyone who doesn't think OGL is on it's last legs anyway?

What really pisses me off is the REGS team shouldn't have been held accountable for it.

OGL has 15 teams, between MOB & Regs we make up 13% of the ladder,
I doubt hoods will stay around much longer as they have lost most of their players.

If this doesn't get over-turned, OGL can keep their ladder as far as I'm concerned.

it sucks that a clan leader cant even have access to all his teams as far as comments of the match unless their on the team. then they have to suspend a clan if thats what the intention was. i agree with RD, if he played a match for both teams it would be right to suspend both teams, but thats not what happened. the way its going the only ones that will be in ogl will be any noob clans and the hackers.

The admins could get together and start a team... if they don't already have one.
