I was real excited about playing some new maps, got all 6 map packs...but I tell ya Ive really had trouble enjoying them for 2 reasons. 1 is there are sooo many hiding spots on say berlin_av or thunder 2...people find a dark hole and just sit there, u run for 5 minutes trying to find sum1 only to be wacked in the kneecaps by some loser. Reason 2, the spawn points on a few of them (cant remember names atm) are too easily overrun, lots of games Ive played lately my teams had really good players but we spent whole map stuck in our own spawn I dunno, I like Island assault and opcenter a lot, very aggressive run and gun maps (seen allies get pressed down a lot there but usually just coz theyre outmatched) Id like to see less camping/sniping maps with bunkers and hideyholes...just my opinion, was cranky and thought Id share...cyas

Well you are a man after FK's heart and I will second everything you said.

First off you will usually find that maps with bad spawn issues don't stay on the server for long. When I make a pack of maps I try and find ones where that is not an issue ( you wont believe how many maps never make it because of that) but it is hard to be sure until you play them for a bit. So I put them in a pack and see how it goes but in the end if there are spawn issues the map won't stay on the server.

As for the snipin maps I try and minimize them to just 1 or 2 per rotation. I hate Berlin but a lot of the regulars like it so I keep it in just to keep the masses happy. I will tell you however that these maps will be few and far between.

I have a gripe too for the server #2 admin. There seems to be an invinciblility when you spawn. This sucks in the worst way, because I love to spawn kill. I am a regular on the server and love it. Please delete this wussy invincibility before the whole world is ruined by its mere existence. Thank you and have a nice day.

11 is almost done. i need one more good map to bring it out. On a side note I have been investing MAJOR time in coming out with a classics redo. I am doing major overhauls on several old maps including not only spawning objects to enhance game play but weapons like the Nebelwerfer and mortars. I play tested my version of Algiers the other day with 20 guys on the server and it is a completely different map with all the changes. It will take me a while but I hope to get several classic maps (Crossroads) to be fresh and new again. Ill keep you posted...

Map Pack 11.........Another fine job well done FK! BTW, when do you find time do things like say.....sleep and work??

Anyway....keep ' em coming and look forward to the resurrection of some of the old stock maps....Peace

FK, the new maps are great. Particularly the "Frag and Rock" one I think it is. Everyone was laughing their butts off at getting run over by the trucks this morning. Thanks for all the new maps.

I'd like to add my kudo's and accolades for a job well done by FK on the new maps. Awesome maps! I don't know how you find the time to do all this work.

I LIKE THE MAPS THAT ARENT WIDE OPEN, LOTS OF HALLWAYS, THAT WAY IT DEPENDS ON REACTION TIMING AND AIMING, RATHER THAN HIDING AND SHOOTING FROM ACROSS THE MAP. MY FAVORITES ARE ISLAND ASSAULT, VERSHNEIT, VSUK, BREST...PLEASE KEEP THOSE IN THE ROTATION IF POSSIBLE!!!

Everyone has there favourite maps and theres no way to change that, so if possible FK said he would change the rotations a couple of times a week. I think this will hopefully solve everyones problem. I think the best option would be to split the rotations into 16 or so maps then they would completely rotate every 4 hours. Change the rotation 2 times in the week and have a longer rotation on the weekend. Now this may be completely impractical because of the time required to change the server setup, lets wait for some FK feedback!

I also think camping on some maps is part of the game, otherwise you might as well have an open field and we can fix bayonets and charge! actually sounds like fun!

I dont like VSUK Abbey but do like Breast! I do like the new LOLClan map though; especially the mods. the best bit is you can see Smokes black coat through the wall whilst he's hiding, sneak round and shoot him. This is now my favourite map! Does anyone remember the map with a trench at each end a big field in the middle with a circular machine gun post on a hill in the middle.

I have to say most of map pack13 seem like refreshes, but i havent played AA for so long itmight be me. Bombed village could do with being 50% bigger but is a good laugh. I dont like Southern France because I get wasted there all the time, for those of us with higher pings (+120ms) the open spaces are better because you get time to pull the trigger before getting wasted face to face.

ITs not that we dislike you but you sometime come across like its only for YOU. Its for everyone and everyone likes different things and you can't make everyone happy all at once.So what happens you endure or leave (which I've said in another post) Nobody is stopping you from suggestions but just get to the point .I like or don't like map destroyed village then give reason.Also don't say others that is such a broad term if anybody else has any thing to say they can post it . I enjoy playing with and against you but you can get bitchy.

Dont wanna come off that way OLD MAN...but i guess i have to take more of that MYDOL for my period LOL ......but from now on its FACT based .....the reason I dont like most of the stock maps is cuz of SPAWNING and CAMPING........and with the new maps noone really knows where to hide and wait and thats why I preffer em. Personally dont like camping and wheres the fun in that? And its not only for ME, i know most of the guyz feel like that and i cant remember names....( i can hardly speak english, now memorize names? LOL )
