Hi all!

Your opinions about cod2 multiplayer are needed? Is it worth of it´s price?

Just had to do this To be a topic starter....

Well, I think I'm going to try to buy it today, even if it's just for the single player. I haven't bought anything since UO, so I'm due, LOL.

Somebody lend me some cash..... lol, won't buy it for sometime, hopefully soon.

For 50 bucks you get a "pretty" version of CoD...is it worth it..single player is cool but I would just as soon play CoD-UO on line as this.

I'm enjoying the single player a lot. There are some nice features to the multiplayer. I'd still rather play UO multiplayer, but COD2 is ok. The graphics and sound are fantastic, especially since my computer is ancient. I was really enjoying the sound last nite. The TDM is better than UO, but I still prefer BA.
It's growing on me...

Well its starting to grow on me also..so now it's worth 40 bucks..anyway I love the MOB Casino server simply because its fast and those like me who have played a lot of UT like the speed.

However with CoD2 I've found that I like playing HQ the most..makes you think a bit work more as a team and is fairly slow paced compared to TDM.

The graphics are tremendous and no tanks around to bother you

I was finally able to get the game yesterday, last copy at Wal-Mart. Wanted the collectors edition but oh well... after playing demo I was really looking forward to single player at least. First place I went after install was the {MOB} server but it was empty. Checked out a few other MP maps then played SP till 1:30 this AM.

I found SP really challenging on Regular, (maybe it's just my old reflexes). Much better AI than previous, almost too good. As a modder I'm really lookin forward to messin' with it, as there's lots of things in COD2 I wanted for a CODUO mod. Was it worth the money, yeh, it's got a few glitches in SP and maybe MP isn't perfect either but overall it runs well on my system. Graphics and sound are really good. I'm a military history buff especially WWII, and great games are hard to find and it costs too much to waste good money on bad games. IMO the COD series was better than MOH series and I have 'em all.

I don't know what maps/gametypes {MOB} is runnin' on server, but Tunsia reminded me of Black Hawk Down MP maps, only on smaller area.

Overall I'd have to give COD2 SP 4 1/2 bullets outta 5. I haven't played enough MP yet to rate, but it sux that there's no BAS. I figure the patches will be out soon and an expansion by Summer or Fall.

umm m00sekill, u think Cassino is fast???IMO Carentan/UO_Carentan, Harbor/UO_Harbor, Depot/UO_Depot, and /or Dawnville are much faster and certainly better suited to a run and gun style of play while still allowing for tactics and strategy in clan play.
