Well I got COD 2 for christmas (bless my parents), but alas, the video card can not handle it, or at least I think so. Basically Direct X is all like, bitch I am going to crash, or something, and sends me to the FAQ troubleshoot, where it tells me to download the latest drivers and put the something acceleration on full and after all of which it still doesnt work. So yea, the conclusion is the video card.
Anyway, before I sell this bitch on eBay or to a friend I figured I'd offer it up here. The fam spent $50 on it, so my starting offer would be say, $40 with shipping included?
Let me know if you all are interested/have any suggestions/or are pissed off that I am selling on the forums.
Let's see, I have an eBay account if you are interested in feedback, and I could probably do paypal or money order or something.

What are your vid. card spec's?
Before you see it let's see if we can fix your problem.
Almost any video card should handle COD2, maybe not with the best setting but playable.
1St off, can you get in the game at all?
If so, go
Options>>>>Graphics>>>Rendering method preference
Change this to DX7
Even with my newer card I had constant crashes using DX9 on the Single player.
Next step would be to post the extra error message if one is listed.

I cant even get in the game. The load screen comes up and then it just consistantly tells me that DirectX has encountered an error and BOOOYA, no game. Remember, I'm playing with a laptop. I recently downloaded new drivers for the video card, which is the Mobile Intel 915GM/GMS, 910ML something and so forth. If ya'll have any clever suggestions, please let me know, because I hate computers and I am itching to sell this thing over messing around with it.
Thanks for your interest in helping me!
