I over clocked the bfg 5800 gt i have and this was the end result. it maxed out @ 368 core clock and 590 memory clock. The fps on uo before was 60 -70 after was 80-85 cod2 before 35-40 and after 66 -70

I guess the moral is You cant get chicken salad from chicken shit.............

1. Your card will need sufficient cooling to conpensate for the higher speeds.

2. If that doesn't fix it then drop the speeds little by little until artifacts dissapear.

WTF is this over clocking anyways?

Its trying to get more performance and speed out of your card than the "safe" speed it was originally designed for.
