You know you're a fan of MOB #2 and FK if you went thru all the bs it took to reinstall and reconfigure your game just so you could play on his server. Took me 2 hours to do all that shit over again, and I don't mind the hassle to get the games I get from FK's server.

I'm sure I speak for all the hardcore fans of #2 when I say many thx FK for all your hard work in keeping the rest of us with leet games, with leet maps. There's no other server out there who does that, and it is appreciated.

The games might be small right now till everyone gets their act together, but it will get better and bigger, and it will be worth it.

Keep up the great work for all our sakes, and thx again FK.

One thing tho, and this is just a footnote. The bullets don't seem to kill as quick as they used to. Maybe you've seen it when you play, but it seems to take longer and more bullets to kill than it did before. Just wanted to mention that as well. Could be just me.

I have an idea, maybe it's not for all but here goes. I was talking to FK the other day on the phone and he informed me that he's only had one person donate to his server. For those who are not avid players on #2, this is no big deal, but for all of us that are on there every day, I think it would be only fair if we made some kind of donation weather it's $5.00 or $20.00. I feel kinda bad I haven't done so yet. He spends alot of time keeping this server alive, not to mention the $ aspect of it. I mean, Gale, you saw how long it took you to get yourself fixed up. Imagine what FK goes through to keep it up. I just think this would be a little sweeter if we done what we could. If i'm correct, if you play this game as much as I do, thanks is not enough. Lets help him out . Waddaya say?

FK needs to find out if he can post a PayPal donate button for Server #2 here on mobclan.com. I know he does not want to advertise donations and make people feel obligated. Bandwidth is not cheap, maintaining your own server; especially a gaming server can be a daunting task at times.

The only ground pounder I play is Spearhead, and the only server I play on is MOB #2. I wish I had some better ping times. I average about 100ms, but I am envious of the 30-40ms ping times I see some of the hard-core experts of the game get.

I have to agree that I too am addicted to FK's good work!
MOHAA is the first game I ever really got into on PC's as a FPS and started getting bored on other servers of the same thing day in and day out.

Now that I have been playin with all of you on Server #2.......I can't stop! I have even purchased more RAM and am looking at new Vid cards just so I can keep up with killin Smokehouse and someday kill Zieldog! LOL


I talked to FK when I was the only one who logged on that morning and could not help but flood him with compliments! Even the weapons mod I find great!

You're absolutely right Zieldog, and I'm with you a 100%. FK is very unselfish, and for those of us who can help him we should. Now that I know how and where, I will do my part.

Many of the gamers on here tho are probably kids, or people who don't have the money to spare, and I applaud FK for saying he will never ask for money. Very noble of him, and you don't see that much anymore.

I say this last part as just a warning. While I agree that those of us who can help out should, I've been involved in leagues where money became an issue, and it got ugly real fast. People started to think that if they donated they had some control or say in how the server was run. Things became expected, and peeps got selfish with their own wants, and in the end, it destroyed the league with everyone going their separate ways.

So if you donate, remember why you're doing it, and don't expect anything in return. It's FK's and MOB's server, and it's their's to run as they see fit. Any money given should be done so unselfishly to help out, and once given, it's gone. I would hate to see what happened in those other leagues happen here.

With that said, I'm gonna check out this paypal thing, then log on to kick all of your asses.
