No I'm not killing myself. I just want to share with you all a program I have been using for about a year now called EndItAll. I use it everytime I start any game as it closes any running background processes that is allowable, meaning it won't shut down the things you need. Here is a link from pc magazine explaining this program thoroughly.

Very cool -- except it doesn't look like I can use it for Windows XP

I'm using XP and it works fine. The only thing is I'm using the original version but this one should work even better.
