That's a weird one.... You sure there's nothing in the inbox? Even an old message that you have already read?

It's still showing I have one message although I have emptied my inbox and all other boxes 2 days ago and it's still empty. As you said, it's strange.

Try sending a PM to your self and then read and delete it. This just happened to me and that is what worked.
