After playing the singler player demo I wasn't very suprised that COD2 was sucking ass. Against my better judgement I decided to buy the damn thing anyway. After the 6 disc install I headed straight for some TDM action. And guess what....guys I'm not sure how to tell you this but this is the next MOHAA. Plus smoke granades. Which suck ass so its not important.

If you loved MOHAA and thought that COD and UO were a bit gay; then you need to get COD2 right now. Its fucking great, trust me.

Expect the cheats to starting hitting full force now.
Most of the older cheats wouldn't work with the game because it's D3D.
Now the 1st openGL cheats have been ported over to D3D.

By this weekend there will be several wall-hacks and aim bots available for download.

after all they had with cheaters when cod first came out, why in the hell would they make a game without PB from the box. that just gives the hackers the upper hand. maybe they want it to be just like MOHAA including the cheaters.

I'm buying it this weekend. Does it look like PB will be released for it... or ? I haven't really been following the situation.

We had cheaters on our server the very day it came out. We had a guy that stared at the I specd for awhile and watched him stare at walls then shoot someone the second they came into sight. I specd him because the round I came in, he finished 132-13. Not bad for having the game for about two fucking minutes. The game is good, but will die quickly without anticheat.

I haven't declared anyone a hack yet, although I've seen suspicious behavior. The first problem I think is just with how the game is designed. There seem to be WAY more head shots. I know I've made some first shot head shots without even aiming down the sight on distance shots. Enough that I would have suspected me in MOHAA, lol. I've seen guys run up to me with smg's pointing at my knees and get head shots. Could be my imagination or slow machine, but it's odd.
Next, and more realistically a cheat, I've seen quite a few guys jumping around corners and making shots. Of course, most of them had fairly lame scores, but if MOHAA taught me anything, most hackers actually suck, even with hacks.
So, I'm not really sure about how bad it will be. A plus is being able to vote to kick players. I've seen this come up a few times, and on the plus side, nobody got kicked. I give credit to the honest players for this. The majority aren't going to kick a player for being good. However, if a guy is hacking, only the other team is really going to know about it, so how many votes are needed to kick?
I find it to be a pretty good game. I'm not disappointed I bought it. I believe that it will be covered by an anti cheat in due course. Let's just hope it's less of a hassle than Missionary (although that is clearly better than nothing).

I concur. This game reminds of me of a non-sucky version of Spearhead and Breakthrough...
