Since FK does and awesome job with such kickazz maps and mods, I thought maybe some of you graphically talented people could either make some....or find some sweet new player skins we could all use and have FK put in the download section.
I have seen many other new authentic WWII skins for Allies and Axis that are very cool looking and would add to Server#2's creativeness.
Here is a link for you all to check out:

I thought FK could host some more unifroms for us to play with.
It is not the maps, you are not affected if you don't want them.

Well I knew this would come up but I am going to level with you guys. I am going to go REAL slow with add on mods. Until I complete my thorough testing of pure I want to be extra careful what I allow to be put on the server. I am not saying you guys would cheat but I don't want someone else taking a cool skin and finding a way to hack it and get on the server. So for now I will have the 3 blood mods, a couple of crosshairs and a hud or 2. That will be it. I am not going to allow weapon or uniforrm skins at this time. Over time, that will probably change so you guys can keep looking for ones everyone likes but don't ask me to put them on the server just yet.

if I was (not that I am going to it just a question) but if I was going to edit a skin from one of the original pk3 files but left the file name the same and as well as the shaders and TIKI and all that would sv_pure know the diff ???

The size must also be exactly the same!
OOps...I wasn't supposed to tell you that

Sorry to tell you guys but the size of the file is NOT the only thing pure looks at. Pure does a crc check on the hex code and it must be an EXACT match. Therefore changing even one number in hex like a spawn point setting will cause pure to reject it. I have tested this and it actually works even though the file sizes and dates were identical.
I am fairly confident that this thing is foolproof but I have not yet been able to test it completely. Changing something in photoshop or other graphic additions is a whole new ball game and right now I just want to avoid opening any potential door for soemone to exploit. I don't have any reason to believe that someone could change or hack a skin and successfully trick pure but until I know for SURE it's not going to happen I am taking it slow. Just remember that every additional file I add is just another potential open door for some hacker.

Your point is well taken!
I would rather have everyone play on pure so all is equal than let people start hackin and changin stuff......takes the fun out of the game when people cheat.
Server #2 is awesome as it is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thnx FK!

What is Volumetric Smoke mean?
I don't notice anything when checked.

Correct me if i'm wrong Fag but I think volumetric smoke is like when theres a wind blowing , it blows the smoke (smoke nades and explosions) around so it looks more real. I'm by far no Mr.Smartypants but I think thats what it is. From what I can tell, if you have a high end graphics card, you won't see a performance decrease with this option on. If i'm right, great. If i'm wrong just call me a dumbass, lol.
Could be that Zdog is right. The very name "volumetric" implies to me that it references 3-dimensional smoke. Think about it; as long as you're on one side or the other of the smoke screen, you can't see it. However, once you pass a particular set of coordinates, you're through it. In other words, the smoke is more like a sheet of paper sitting in the way. There is height and width, but no depth. I think volumetric gives the smoke depth, so instead of one step one way or the other putting you on either side of the smoke, now it might take you several steps to get through the smoke.
