US is out, I'm rooting for Russia. Fins looks strong but I took offense to Selanne's comment about the team "not having to try at all" in their win against the US.

After Sweden's 7-3 win this morning over the czechs I think they have the better chance of taking the gold than either Russia or Finland.

I agree, Sweden has one awesome (Red Wing led) team

Although, that's a Czech team without Hasek and alot of injured players including Jagr. Sweden's good, I believe they were the favorite going into the Olympics.

Today we got the Russian Federation Vs. Czech Republic, personaly I like Russia getting Whooped AGAIN.. slowpokes (Tanja Poutiainen did great yesterday, watched it all in the overall daily replay)

The final starts in 1 hour and I'm going to a blood live match of Sc Heerenveen...bleh...so not cool. I just hope both win. (going to Heereveen over looking Ice Hockey because it's live in a huge stadium etc )

A great effort by both teams. The hockey gods looked down upon Lidstrom and guided his shot from the blue line. I think it was a tough loss for Finland, especially since they had gone undefeated throughout the tourney. Congrats to Sweden. BTW, did both Sedin brothers play? I kept only seeing one in the games I've seen.. maybe the other is injured.

Sc Heerenveen Vs. NAC live at the stadium that was almost sold out with 20.500 people.
The match started great with a quick goal Dannish player Nørregaard. 1 - 0
But 4 minutes later NAC player Leonardo made it all square again, 1 - 1.^

6 mintes played and th ematch really started with chances on both sides with Heerenveen more possesion.
Heerenveen got some had a good chance to regain the lead by shots from Bruggink and Nilsson (fucking swedish player...hes probaly now celebrating double time..good guy, good player, sucks ass because hes swedish) 2nd Hlaf started with chances on both sides, Vonlanthen, Stam and Sno where playing great at NAC's side but at the 85th minute Pranjic scores the winning goal for Heerenveen 2 -1.
At the end the win gives to me a small smile on this utter sad day..

I watched a few of Swedens games and yes they both did play but I dont know if they played every game. And I missed the final But glad to here Sweden won!!
