I talked to Druid on this and came up with this. If you are blatently using the spec mode to get out of a corner or refill health and ammo that is being coward. If you are doing it intentially, you will be kicked from the server.

I'm not going to do it, I take my lumps as they come and I don't care much about my stats.

Only if you change teams, not if you spectate.

I hope I don't get an unwarranted boot for going into spec. I use spec mode to wait for auto-balance whenever auto-switch is attempting to put me on a team whose playing as a whole I'm not impressed with enough to accept the side switch. So don't kick hellF if you decide to go that route. I usually get a teamswitch prompt 2 or 3 times in a game and I willingly sacrifice 2 minutes going into spec mode waiting for team balance to reoccur before I join up on my original team. I can't speak for him but I suspect Tragedy is doing the same honest thing as me. We're in fact losing many spree kills waiting for auto-balance to come up again in this situation.

I know what you mean and I definately would not kick for that. I too hate auto switch. But, I have seen allot of switching from one team to spec to the same team within seconds and at least 5 to 10 times if not more in one game. I can tell the difference of what your saying, and what Trag has been doing many times.

lol, fine Ill stop. I have done it both ways. I honestly (mostly) do it to switch weapons fast to match the tempo of the game, depending on what it is. Now yeah its a little bonus that Id get full health again. You used to be able to spec/rejoin in one command but CoD fixed that last update. You do this is the console {/bind 8 cmd "follownext" or "killcam"} So when ur low on health or something just hit that button and it specs you instantly. Then, like I do, hit AUTO assign, to balance teams if they arent or rejoin my former team at a new/better spawn. Its pretty cheap, but I dont need it to kick all of ur asses, so Ill stop.
