what do you guys think of opening Barb 2 and run it no time limit again??? smolensux SUX! cqn would be ok but ATM it BLOWS!!! and people are flooding our barb server... what if it ran ! round ba the next cqn

One of thing to keep in mind.
Barb has been doing better now that there is only one.
Before the 2nd server was switched to Smolensk, Barb was slow to get going and quicker to die out because players where split between two servers.
Just something to think about, I'll go with whatever the magority wants.

I think opening barb 2 again would be a great idea as smolensk seems to be a complete failure. Would maybe be a good map in Domination tough.. dunno... Barb 2 would be awsome...

I agree with everything above. I think Smolensk is doomed unfortunately. I've had some good battles on the map, and CNQ was fun (I'm surprised no one has suggested CTF), but sadly the map lacks mass appeal. As we've mentiond a gazillion times - the spawn raping pak gun issue I think killed it more than anything tho'. If that had been fixed within the first day or two of the maps release I think the .76 server would be full to this day... however....

The NTL Barb. was switched over to Smolensk. I'm not sure running another Barb server will work out again, we ran into the problem of one server (timed or untimed) being full while the other would be empty.

i have to say i disagree with everyone (not that it matters) ,i have been playing it when there are people ,even as low as 4 to start and it usually fills. its a great map and can be tricky if you know the spots. the only reason i liked a ntl barb was for friday night when noobs like me wait for a server spot! i was on this morning with a few guys i havent seen around in a while and i thought we had some pretty awesome matches.

i say wait for scrappy's map, or keep smolensk.

Rotate Barbarossa 50 minutes and Smolensk bas and keep the Barb-80-server on 35 minutes.
It would have been great to place a russian base by the railway station on Smolensk, but I understand it is not an easy thing to do.

I like the Barb server. I have never played when you had a no time limit one, but think it would be more fun than the normal ones that end in a draw. But, I think it would be difficult to fill two servers with the same map. Why not try a new map for BA?

or just keep it until Bob's comes out....i think that would be best, i was on it last night. looks AMAZING. except for the parts where i fall into the abyss and can't save myself...
