Ive seen the server with out the PPSH before and it was a lot better for it. We should do the ppsh like we do the shotgun, never have it available. 51 and Atrox abuse it way too much and they make the server no fun on the russian maps. And if possible use a mod or whatever to make jumping harder, bunny hoppers are far too frequent. I hate bunny hoppers more than anything and if I had one wish it would be to wipe them off the face of the earth .

First, the bunny hopping:

After participating and losing in the two COD2 matches, the last thing we need to do is mod the server to make us less competitive. The last team we played kicked our ass and part of the reason was their bunny hopping. As long as the TWL allows the bunny hop in matches then we need to learn how to do it and how to defend against it.

As for the PPSH, I like it because I can increase my stats with it (just like you can do with the M1). But at this point, I don't care about the stats anymore. I want to win in the TWL matches. So when the Snow maps come up with the PPSH, lets get out of the server and practice as a team.

Reminds me of the some early complaints about the original CoD before they cut down the bunny hopping and rebalanced some weapons. (I swear the folks who made CoD great were definitely not in charge of CoD2...)

I think part of the reason the server has died down again is because we have the ppsh and shotgun on again. I've had people flat out ask if we were going to keep it that way bacuase they liked playing on our server without it.

A long time ago, we modded the shotgun w/PPSH attributes. So basically it was spitting out shotgun shells like crazy, it was fun. Almost as fun as repeating rockets w/unlimited ammo.

I think the game was made that way and the devs put alot of thought into how the sides were to be kept even without an advantage for either. So IMO it should be left totally stock unless you want to put like a 30 round Thompson, or make the PPSH a 30 round gun, or even slow down the PPS42....things like that but, alot of people dont like the mods (including me)...so leave it stock with everything original without adding or taking anything out of the game...if you don't like it go play Pac-Man!

The only thing I would change is put the taunt mod on there so you can talk smack to eachother with the "intended" rated G taunts.
