I had to wear one when I was in the army, has a good charcol 3 way filter ,we used them in a CS chamber 20x20 ft and they light 7 cs tablets ,then had to take of the mask and say name.rank and number,not easy when your doing press-ups aswell.

OH and very effective to smoke POT too!!lol

I been trained with the gas mask, in a gas chamber. I didn't find it that bad. We went in with the gas masks and had to sit there for about 10 minutes, then had to remove the gas masks...I lasted about 3 minutes...then ran my ass out of there...LOL lasted longer than most of the guys.

I think being pepper sprayed is much worse...especially if your within the 3m range...LOL...It sticks to there hair and even after your decontaminated...it seems to hold its affects for a good long while.

We had to go into a room w/our biological suits on and chill forever. Then one by one we have to go up to what looked like a keg with gas spitting out of it. We had to take off the mask and say our name, rank, serial, etc... as far as you could go with the platoon song till you couldn't take it anymore. It felt like a billion little needles sticking into my face. After it was over, we opted to do it again.
