Dictators often play the most dangerous games, and all the innocents pay.... well with N.Korea there was at least
some resource/bartering leverage. Hopefully the Iranian moderates get their arses in gear and overthrow their dictators before their taunting policies force the hand of democratic nations to make an interdiction strike.

so what do you think it would take to get the liberals (no offence to any out there) backing Mr. P and a strike against Iran if thos islamic extremists got out of hand?

At this point, I think the best thing is to just threaten at the most, and avoid stepping in another squishy mess with pre-emptive strikes. This time make massive strikes if the extremist leaders step
one toe OVER the line [not merely boast and dance on the line] then all the critics will be silenced and only the baffoons will be outraged. The threats should be like, "You won't know what hit you if you dare actually to do A B or C [ie,give weapons to terrorists/make a first strike/deploy weapons menacingly etc] - no ifs, ands, or buts!"
i think russia or another oil hungy country will attack them! theyv been the most vocal,we wouldnt attack them !we would be over extended!

haha we would attack them if they stepped over the line... and Russia stands where on this? i know France earlier this year declared they would unleash hell if anyone targeted them or their holdings. That i would love to see
we wont attack them, we will fund israel and some of their left wing parties to fight them. if we can prove that Iran has WMD i am positive egypt and SOME of the other MID-EAST countries that would be put out by iran having nukes, for fear of invasion, would back us. as of right now they "have reactors not nukes"... *cough*BULLSHIT*cough*
I believe russian has their hand in this more then we believe...
france as well...
who do I think is involved??
France- believe they know more and are seriously involved, they want the oil!!!
syria- they hate israel and the american thought process
Iran- can we say hitler reincarnate?
russia- wants money and oil.... they will sell the spokes to their mothers WC if they could!
n. korea- do I need to explain? can we send them prozac?
china- NEEDS OIL!!! DESPERATE FOR IT!
pakistan (watch their left hand while they shake urs with the right one)

The ruskiz have some sort of uranium enrichment scheme with Iran possibly in the works the last I heard.

I agree with Silver. Isreal has their back against the sea. If Iran gets nukes or before...We will covertly and somewhat openly support an Isreali strike on those reactors in Iran. (That's why we fund them so heavily).
It's the same situation we had in Iraq when Isreal hit their FRENCH BUILT REACTOR in 1987(?). Funny that the only people killed in the Iraqi Reactor Strike were a couple of french guys!
Let's Vote: What foreign power is assisting Iran in nuclear science?

ruskiz for one

russia and china have assisted Iran in Uranium Enrichment. But they say they gave them only for reactors. In reality its for missles. They are now with us in saying iran should NOT build a A-Bomb
well,do you remember all the bs korea said the same thing-just reactors! now there testing balistics (says japan) and they suposedly have to nuke missles. un doesnt work!

I couldnt have said it better
This, folks, is maddening to me, because the Iranians are now mocking us, and they're now saying, "We're not going to be any part of this. What are you talking about? This is just a sham! The United States doesn't..." Why is this happening? All this talk about maturity: Okay, we're going to talk to terrorists. We're going to "engage dialogue." It's the same old thing. Back in the Cold War era, we had to be talking to Russians. If we weren't talking to the Russians, weren't talking to the Soviets, and weren't talking to communists, (gasping) a nuclear war could break out any moment! We've got to talk to them! Talking to them kept everybody at bay, blah, blah, blah, blah. But talking to them doesn't lead to defeating them. It never has; it never will. You don't win conflicts with words, contrary to those of you who have been to conflict resolution courses at major institutions of supposed higher learning.

Regarding the Cold War, I'd take 'blah blah' over world destruction

. Being around in the 1960s and 1980s was scary as hell with threats of global destruction very imminent-not to mention every so often erroneous alert for incoming missile computer errors almost setting things off [if you grew up in those times -like us geezers]. 'Blah blah' was good enough to'defeat' the Ruskiz [one thing I at least liked Reagan for, in bankrupting the Soviets into submission]. I think the threat with Korea and Iran is on a different scale-> they know they can be inevitably vapourised but at what cost in terms of politics and resources is the type of imagined/real threat these bonehead dictatorships like to try and exploit the 'free world' - in my opinion. If a real imminent threat arises from these idiots I have no doubt there'll be no hesitency to strike first and hard at them.
Limbaugh needs one of my photo manips of him guzzling so many pills they're popping out of his nose!

Right-on Churchhill and Hellfighter...The 'Cold War; was was won by talking and bluffing ang staging...because they could have seriously put the hurt on us. Iran....HA! Give me my shit kicking boots....
The US military does not have the resources for anything more than they are currently doing. They dont even have the resources to finish the job n Iraq or Afhganistan. It will be a nice long summer of bluffs and talking heads spewing doom and gloom every chance they get. I say fuck em all, pull all our troops and have them run huge corn farms for ethanol processing. I would rather pay 3.50 a gallon than give these pigs any of my money.
how about for starters we start developing more effecient ways of transport?
pirus can obtain 250 miles per gallon with the cal-car recommended modifications.
hemp can be used as a fuel
we have a new fuel that uses hydrogen and oxygen...
why do we need opec again? oh yeah they pay the gov off....

we are still dependent on an invention from the 1800s -lol! new government! it bugs me latley with all this govt pay off bs.this is why we had so much trouble getting our money from the insurance co. down here! insurance co= #1 lobbyists and contibuters ! theyr doubling peoples insurance down here and our state gov says we cant do anything, lol! for those of you who own a home ,if you bought a house for 180 thou youd be paying $5600.a year insurance with a $5500 deductble. that makes your tax and ins payment more than your mortgage payment! greedy fuckin bastards -wtf!
the oil industry is the same way and of course led by our #1 oil man. were still using a fuel source that people been dieing for since ww2 and running out now !you could fuel your car on plants and its proven, but whos going to make money on that?have you ever saved every receiplt for gas a year or see what you spend on electric a year! i do ,its staggering.
everyone should be starting to conserv on all energy sources, solar power and new fuels or new vehicles all together.no one cares enough to make it a big deal and until then, were going to be complaining of $5 a gallon fuel prices!
didnt mean to go on a off topic/tangent but this is where it starts!
im not worried about them i
