hmmm, Churchill..... in light of yesterday's heavy action on Tuchola and you're impressive playing, one thing you need to consider easing up on is always getting on someone's case when you get owned by a non-rifle weapon-and moreso, telling several of us MOBs- perhaps in jest- how we should play and with what weapons is not commendable at the very least until we're familiar with each other. Just a tip on getting off to a good start.

gaming isn't as important to me as other aspects in life. as long as i get on and have fun with or without lag i'm there. its just frustrating a lot of the time...but i've learned to be good with lag.

I guess we've done this before Mr.Lipton but what are your comp. specs and game options....... if you've beaten us to death on this before then what have you nailed the problem down to?
Is it your ISP/connection.
It seems the best setups include cable and at least 512MB ram /good grafix card might help
What kind of helps my none-too-impressive pc gaming specs [256 ram/2.2ghzs cpu/ati9200 card] is that I have my CoD setup on its own Partition. Also look into the following; turn your cod sound options to low or lowest quality... use 800x600 screen........ make sure you have hardly any programs running in the background while you play [except your firewall and anti-virus]. Defrag your drive and turn off items in your systemtray/notification tray on the desktop that might be dragging on your resources-like auto messengers updating programs. Even though I still have a good ping, I'm trying to track down some app running while online somewhere on my pc giving me bad lag issues lately.

i have PCI slot. i bought a AGP slot card, only to find out it wouldn't work...i might as well just be content with what i have.



though, i'll leave a "Lipton / Choth computer problem" jar open for donations. save the dell men !!

I hope after you get a 'normal' pc that allows 40-80fps you put up a web cam while you play so we can see you gibbering with joy as you dart arond the map yelling "oooh yahhh/ goooo baby/ can't touch me punk/ woot wooooot!"

every year we take a few bucks each like 10 bucks and toss it in a kitty, and given a number at the end of the year we use the super bowl score to get the number or what not...

then buy the person a pc or a part they need.
