Hi there, I'm not sure if this has been discovered by anyone yet (or the few players that saw me do it this morning reported it), nor am I sure where it goes, so I'll put it here.

Yesterday I had no internet for most of the day and I eventually got bored and decided to do some exploring in the Barbarossa map. What I did was see if it is possible to hop inside a base while it has not been opened yet. Well, I found some interesting things.

The Russian 2 can be jumped in using a medium tank with a jeep. If the tank is position to the side facing the Russian 3, you can (if lucky) jump on the tank, jump on the turret, and then get inside the base. Once inside, you cannot plant--but you can grab the bazooka and shoot at the base from inside and spawn kill. If you are not so lucky, then you need a jeep. Get the jeep next to the tank, jump on it, and then jump on the tank.

The Russian 3 can also be entered, but it is far harder. I managed to tank the super heavy Russian tank next to it, get a jeep and jump on it, and jump from the turret onto 3. But I've only done that once. Easier to do is get the heavy tank, park it next to the base, park a light tank next to it, and a jeep. Jump from the jeep to the light tank's turret, then from there to the heavy tank's turret, and then from there to the base.

I tried jumping in the German 2 (but only with a medium tank), and it wasn't possible. It might be with a heavy tank. German 1 is off limits, I think. As is German 3 and Russian 1.

There are also lesser places that can be jumped on. The house outside of the Russian 1 (the one that has the bazookas) can be jumped on with a medium (or light) tank and jeep (or just a tank, if you can jump on one without a jeep). The shed near the German 2 could be jumped on with a tank and a jeep. You can stand on machinegun on the Russian jeep (never tried it with the German one), and so maybe can get up there that way. The shed in the German spawn could be jumped on with a tank, but invisible walls prevent you from standing on it. You can stay on the edge, however. To my knowledge, all of the buildings between the Russian 2 and German 1 cannot be jumped on. Only two little sheds that provide little to no advantage. The rest have invisible walls. I don't think any of the buildings near the Russian 3 could be jumped on, either. Nor could the burning tanks in the spawn (except one of them).

lol, you had too much time on ur hands. I think most of us knew about getting into unopened bases. It's a time consuming operation. I doubt it could be done with a large # of players. As for the sheds & other building, I wasn't aware that you could, but figured it was possible.

Lol Zach you weirdo, I havent been able to play Barb in a long time. Everytime I try it says server disconnected or I get kicked cause the load is long.

FYI... it's a map design flaw when that happens. (Go spend time on Tuchola and see if you can get in... please!)

When you layout the bases for Base Assault, you're (the map maker) supposed to put a one-way patch around the base to prevent entry while the base is still standing.

AFAIK, the Tuchola bases are designed properly which prevents this from happening. (You can get up on the "lip" edge, but you can't get down inside.)

My question is, Who looks for these glitches and why? Play the game as it was intended without looking for unfair advantages.


Harry, look at the overall Cassino stats. I have played maybe a handfull of Cassino games over the last few months and Im still way up on the stats. If I stayed on Cassino instead of Barb, I would be #1 in most of the stats easily. lol.

Are you looking at the right stats Harry? My kill ratio is 2.76. Yours is 1.40. That would mean I am twice as good as you are, lol.

If I do my math right, and you were to play as many rounds as I have, your deaths would be 5948. You son, die to much, lol.

I see where you are coming from. Too bad we were talking about Cassino stats and you mentioned my Barb stats, lol. Dont take from one to discuss another man. You are confusing then.

Yea, My stats on Barb are showing high deaths, but that is because I go out and accomplish the goal of the game, I dont sit back and get kills. Look at all the stats, dont just show the ones you want:

You can clearly see that you go out and get kills as to where I go out and kill their bases. I defuse and protect my base allot as well. Yes, You are ranked 24, and I am ranked 4 in objectives. Just depends on what you see as a higher proirity. Getting high kill ratio, or winning the game.

Lol. Well what am I? A sniper. I'm almost always in the enemies base sniping them. I provide cover for my team mates to go in and plant and I'm too far away to go back and diffuse. I have to worry about being seen by anybody. Plus I can't charge in and plant because I only have a sniper sirfle and that's not the best for run 'n' gun.

i plant a lot and i use a k98 or mosin more then anything. you just have to be good at close-combat with it. not frantic.



and DDz, yes you'd own the cassino stats, but thats an unfair advantage since all you do is 95% spawn-kills.



people like strangelove, dixon, meowman, and CHRONS(perfect example) can run around and still do really well.

I understand what you are saying about the stats being unfair because everyone does things differently, but you are way off again about me sniping. I really want to know why people think All I do is snipe in Cassino??? Yes, I rule with spawning, but that is not my whole game there. For example, see my stats in Cassino here:

You can see that about 70% of all my kills are with the rifles. Not 100% of those are spawn kills. There are many that are on the run that I get from the window, or across the way shooting at the window. Why do you always say all I do is spawn kill? If I had to guess, I would say about 40% of my kills are spawn kills. Nowhere near your 95% that you said.

you make a good point - but with those thompson's and 44's you use only when you are in trouble in the hotel and pick one up.

be honest - do you choose a 44 or thompson regularly? and out of your scoped kar kills - i'd say at LEAST 70-80 % are on the spawn.



your my buddy, man. i hope this isn't an arguement. because spawning or not you are one of the best on cassino ever. the fact stands - playing against you is NEVER pleaseant.

I just want the record out there. I have heard from you all I do is spawn 95% of the time, and I heard from someone else the same. I always choose the scoped rifles because I can easily pick up a MG anywhere. I just want to point out that only 70% of my kills are with a rifle. If every one was a spawn, it would be the most 70% spawning, but I really think its about 40 to 50%.

Whenever I read one of DDz's posts before I even get to reading it I stare at his avatar for a good minute and then continure reading it. Then when im done reading, I stare at it again.

I think the scoring is fine. It is based on the difficulty of the kills and how you are killed. Bashes are a way to get more skill points. If you are lucky enough to get a satchel or bino bash, that is a really high point kill. Sniping gives low points for the kills.
