Hello all, I dont know whats going on but the other night i was kicked from the tuchola server for supposedly TK'ing a lame guy by the name of "code red" (lol)

By the way i call that boy/girl lame because if i did tk him it would have been by mistake.. and on top of it he is probably just mad at me whoopin him up many times before. I still dont know when/where he says i did what he says i did.

Furthermore.... I resent getting kicked without even getting a warning or asking me about the offense. I think that i have been playing with you MOB peeps long enough for you to know that i dont go around TK'ng people and furthermore i allways play to win. I dont just run around and hide in bushes ... its A OBJECTIVE GAME PEOPLE!!!!

I don't know Franco and I don't play BAS, but don't team kills happen a lot with all the tanks, artillery, fire fights? So he TK'd someone. Was he warned? Was he asked to stop? Reading his post, I can almost put myself in his shoes for a second. So I pulled up the stats page and searched Franco and he has ZERO teamkills. I'm not trying to start anything but reading his post and then seeing Shadow's response... kind of sounds like Code Red was really into the game and something happened. Maybe he was TK'd by Franco, but is that really a reason to kick? For one TK which could've happened by accident? I'm going off one person's story, so I obviously don't have the full story... but do you guys think that's a great way to keep public players and potential new MOB members on a server? "you've made a mistake, you're banned/kicked"

I could be totally wrong with everything I just posted, but what's that saying? He who casts the first stone.... or something like that.

who cares about his stats and if you are TK'ing I don't think it shows up as a team kill. That gives him no roght to say go lick some pussy or to bash one of our members. He is a guest on our server!!!!!!!!

I totally see your point DG, but look at ourselves. I consistantly see nude avatars/sigs on MOB's site. I see a lot of references to drugs, sex, foul language by our own members. I understand the "guest" arguement here and I'm not saying that he didn't TK Code Red. Just saying that if we don't want the cursing or descriptive elements in the forums, we need to lead by example or keep the stuff that we post in private forums.

I have to agree. We are consistant at what we do. We consistantly say one thing and totally do another. It is a little confusing at times, but what the heck do I know?

I also think that I have TK'd my own teammates before when hopping out of jeeps. It just happens, But I do apologize "If i see it happen". I have been accused of TK'ing someone and I didnt even know it happened, but that person did bring it to my attention and I apologized. If this did happen, cant we see in the logs if it was brought up, or was he just kicked. If it was brought up and he didnt apologize or was rude, Ban his ass. If it was not, I dont think he should have been kicked. Just my opinion.

I do agree the comment in the post above was a little harsh, we should be pressing a little more on those harsh terms. The shit, ass and other small words are more acceptable. But the harsher ones need to be addressed.

I still don't think 1 or 2 TKs deserve a ban, regardless of an apology. People get wrapped up in the game and don't take the time to type out "sorry" or something... no big deal. Half the TK's that I do are because some guy on my team runs into my nade/artillery or jumps in front of my line of fire.

Let's take the spawn rape theory, it happened in war. Friendly fire happened in war too. I'm not saying that it should happen in the game, but it does. Yes, there are jerks who go on servers just to TK and mess with people but this doesn't look like that kind of situation.

I think checking the logs to find out what happened should be the first step here... and also possibly getting Code Red's take on the whole story.

Again, I'm not choosing sides or going against Code Red on this. I just think kicking any player for 1 TK with no warning is too strict and this is the only side of the story I've heard so far.

The team kill stats are based on friendly fire team kills, when friendly fire is turned on.
The tk-ing we are talking about his running over teammates as you jump out of the vehicle, which isn't going to show on the stats.

I'm not the judge or jury, but I think if I were playing on someone's server and they kicked me for a reason that was not known to me or didn't give me a warning, I'd probably be a bit peeved. So maybe CodeRed did give him a warning.. we don't know of that side yet. My point was if MOB just kicks/bans w/out warning for 1 TK, my thoughts were that it was wrong and too harsh.

It seems that there are a lot of contradictory things that happen on the servers and the forums. We're worried about disrespecting MOB members, yet... from what I read on Master of Destruction's thread yesterday, there are MOB members talking about how he cheats on the server to other public players. Atleast that's what I thought I read, just on memory recall right now.

I'm not saying it was right that Franco posted about licking orifices or smoking substances. Just trying to be empathatic and waiting to hear both sides of the story.

1. I donot know why I was kicked.. ( the actual event how/when )

2. I was NEVER given a warning ....so i never knew what i did ( no matter as DG said you dont have to.. its your server. if you need space you take it. )

3. Where is CODE RED! ( how i found out it was tk was a few days later when silver and code red and some other peeps where in the server ( getting smacked might i add.. And yes i do look at stats..) ( that is why you have them no? ) and silver started YELLING AT ME THAT I WAS THE ONE THAT GOT KICKED FOR TKING SOMEONE AND IF I DID IT AGAIN HE WAS GOING TO BAN MY ASS..... even other peeps including MOB people where like OMG .. wtf. is wrong here.. it was like WWIII had come out.

A few nights ago a bunch of us were on TF (german side) {MOB}[Regs] CodeRed was playing and laying down fire at a jeep (out of the way close to an area that is inft only...)

After the fire fight.... a Stug rolls up and proceeds to run him over, he didnt exit the tank but drove on top of him and did donuts on him (to ensure his demise)...

I typed out in console and so did code red asking why you TK'd him...

Pez, no offense, but TK's in {MOB}'s BAS servers are a tough thing to pull off generally. There are three ways, you can 1. Spec Satchel some poor SOB; 2. Roll up on someone who is prone, and proceed to drive all up and down them; or 3. bail out of, or switch to another position in a jeep or something, and let the driverless jeep (or etc.) run the target over. It is not merely a matter of shooting someone. The only one that can be reasonably assumed as a mistake is the third one.

Also FRANCO, your method of stat whore, all offense play is better suited for a TDM server. I wouldn't talk any shit to Red. Red was defending German 2, (you wouldn't know fuck all about defense but whatever) and you figured he was just lying there not doing anything, so like a dick, you proceeded to drive onto him, and spin around, to make sure he was thoroughly TK'd.

As for you talking about Shadow's hiding in bushes and what not. Shadow is a million times the player as you are. He is not only a better player in general, but as a team player, there are none better. You talk shit about Red and Silver being sour because of you owning them, well your probably bitching because Shadow owns your ass.

Like I said in most of my posts on this thread, I hadn't heard the whole story and was only going off what Franco had posted. So is there a way to turn off team damage from statchels and jeeps? Seems that it happens a lot, just from the posts I read in the forums. Guess the damage can be fixed or MOB just keeps banning people.

I know the long time playing Franco as 'good people'. I made the same error kicking someone a few months ago when my chum - a REGS member- stressed on vent he'd been maliciously tk'd by a regular playing 'guest' and insisted on a kick. I should've spec'd/screenshotted him for further abuse, but in fact it turned out to be my error I misjudged the situation and in spite of actually warning the supposed culprit I kicked since an outraged comment he made in response to the accusation led me to believe he was guilty.
Anyway in Franco's situation I'd go with a warning first before deciding if kicking is necessary then see his explaination and hopefully get cooler heads to prevail.
When you have a complaint Franco, I'd advise you to just stick to the incident itself and avoid the colourful speculative non-useful commentary about regular players. Make things easy on yourself.

Well, I am not quiting lol. I personally think Franco is a damn good player. On the other hand, I have also experienced him jumping in front of me to set a base that I was waiting to set. Often I will go to blow a base with 2 or 3 people. Two blowing the hell out of the base and one guy "the one needing stripes" waiting to set it. To me this is rude, but hey, it is a game and if he wants to be lame like that for stats....so be it. I never thought about complaining about it.

The problem I see here is he was rather rude in starting this thread and continued to be disrespectful through out it. I personally care less about stats" which shows lol", but to win battles, one must be part of a team effort. I don't believe that is a strong point with Franco. LIke I said before, he racks up some great numbers and is a great player, but rules are rules and for the record......this happens to be Mobs forums and servers.....like them or play and post someplace else.
