Hello all, I'm sure some of you know me. I've been playing on your base servers (mostly Tuchola and Barb) off and on for the past few years. I've enjoyed many good games with you guys. I wish I was introducing myself under better circumstances, however that's not the case. About 10 minutes ago I was banned from the stock server for "attempted team kill of admin". Let me say this, I am not a team killer, never have been. What happened was an accident. I was driving a jeep away from some german tanks in the middle of Foy when I heard a sniper shot to my right. I have very quick reflexes and sometimes don't check all of my surroundings. I think I inadvertantly bumped someone. Appearenty I hit (but did not kill because I checked the console) Cross of Iron. About 15 seconds later (as I was chasing down the sniper) I was perma banned from the server. I received no warning, no questioning as to whether what happened was an accident, just banned. Anyways, I appologize for my error, but please realize it was in way intentional. If I could be unbanned I would greatly appreciate it.

first of all there was NO sniper.......

Second ......you came at me with a jeep and half killed me,you then got back in the jeep and tried to finish me off...

we do not tollerate team killing,and therefore you where banned.

I swear that there was a sniper in the building to the right of me. I have EAX sound and could clearly hear the position that a shot was fired. Second, I did not see you because I was looking to my right (where the shot was). The only reason I got in the jeep was to head back to the spawn to pick up my friend. I know I should have been more careful bailing out like that, but I did not hit you intentionally. I swear on my life. I'm sure there are a few MOB members who could vouch for me.

I need to clarify something else. The first time I was in the jeep, I was a passenger, not a driver. The driver bailed out because there were some panzers ahead. After I hopped out I got into the drivers seat to turn around and head back to the allied spawn. About 4 seconds later I jumped out because of the sniper shot to my right. That was the only time I left the jeep as a driver. If you were hit a second time it was not me.

well your have to take this further ,but I`m just saying how it was from my point of view......and as for your sound ,I have 5.1 and their was NO shot. Or any panzers by or near the churcg as I was in the middle of the road.

I will vouch for this guy. he has never done anything but play hard. as much as i would LOVE to see him banned just to improve my kill stats... this just doesn't fit him. would you reconsider? y'all know I don't normally defend anyone when they are banned

Sorry, but I gotta say, I figure if pollux really wanted to team kill you, you wouldn't be hurt. You'd be dead!

I'm with Silver on this one. pollux` has ben playing lots of games on our server, and I have never experienced that he his a TK'er. He is a skilled player with a lot of enthusiasm, and I vote for a second chance for him.

My 2 cents....

Thanks for your support guys. After all the games I've played I knew someone out there would remember me. I thought about this last night and I'm fairly sure this is what happened step by step.

1) I was a passenger in the jeep as it headed towards axis through the Foy village.

2) The driver bailed out, I assume it was due to the 2 panzers on the far side of the axis bridge heading towards the village. I'm not sure why the guy bailed, but that's the only thing I can think of.

(This must have been when Cross was hit the first time)

3) My friend (who was on teamspeak) needed a ride.

4) I quickly grabbed the jeep and started heading back in the opposite direction to the allied spawn area.

5) About 3 seconds later I heard a shot, maybe it was a sound glitch or maybe something on TS caused it, but I'm positive I thought I heard something sniper related.

6) I bailed out while I was looking to my right towards the building near the MG-42 house. I knew there was infantry on the road, but I thought I was clear from anyone.

(This must have been when Cross was hit or nearly hit a second time)

I know this story sounds crazy, but I wouldn't lie about something like this. I'm not a troublemaker or team killer. I would never try to intentionally kill someone like that, let alone an MOB admin. Had I known that Cross of Iron had been hit, I would have came right back to the road and killed myself so he could get his health back. Once again I am sincerely sorry for my part in this misunderstanding. I guess there's not much more I can say. I've tried to explain everything as best I can. And thanks again to those who vouched for me. That means a lot to me.

Every time I try & TK Cross, I try to make it look accidental too.

I can attest to accidents happening as on the forest the other night near the russian south road pak gun, approaching tanks, etc etc, I mistakeningly backed up over another MOB member accidently who was hidden in a bush next to the pak. Sgt. Thomas I believe was on the pak. The other MOB player and I discussed it immediately realizing it was not on purpose, however I apologized and we continued on in the game. Simply said, rare accidents can happen.

Everybody TK's me! Whenever a tank hits me and I'm standing I die! Last night flat bashed me and killed me and were both on the same team! Sometimes I'll get TK'd when no ones around!
