Ive known about this breed for a long time and concerned about they're recent comeback! this dog was extinct because it was a bread killer and the most aggressive dog known to man.

pitbulls, like other "mean dogs" are caused from breeding & training. I'm not sure any breed of dog is evil by nature. I h8 pibulls & dobermans.

I've heard about this dog, and I know that it can be very protective.

I work at a pretty middle-upper class animal clinic, so we don't really get too many of the BAD breeds of dog. I like pitbulls, they can be very sweet and I know for certain they are all not killers.
Still, they are bred to have aggressive traits, and are trained to do so as well.

In my mind, Basenjis are pure evil. They are a medium to small size dog that just sits and watches you. You can see it in their eyes, they are evil. You reach into that cage...they will shred you to pieces! Never met a nice Basenji.

The worst by far: A 160 pound Rotty who hates having his feet touched that came in because it had a broken nail (can be very painful). That's one of those instances where you say: "F that, where's the seditive?"

this is very true,but not for this type of dog! ive trained 5 dogs in my life -a yellow lab, german shepard 2 newfoundlands and now currently own a amarican staffordshire terrier (pit bull),which is the smartest and most well trained dog ive ownend.pit bulls have a bad rap because of drug dealers and iresponsible owners and the the name PIT BULL sells news papers.originaly they were used as sheep dogs and was the veru FIRST dog to come from england and live in the united sates.very loyal dogs.

canary dogs were a breed to kill. thats it ,nothing else -they were completely killed off and brought to extiction for a reason,for exactly what happend to this woman.the dogs are known to turn .the people who bread the dogs in san fransico were crossed with bull mastif which is retarded that these dogs were living in an apartment.

My neighbor has a pit bull and a german shepard. they are 2 of the most sweetest dogs ive ever meet. Its all about the owner.

2 presa canarios killed a woman in SF as she was passing a neighbor in a hallway....the owner of the dog went to jail for manslaughter....google it....those dogs should be dealt with like Hezbo....wiped clean from the genepool..... thats the thing lead,they had completely wiped out this dog to extinction and theyv now brought it back,cross breeding with other breeds.in sf that was 2 bull masives crossed with canary dogs (120 lb dogs)living in an apt for god sakes.that guy deserved jail.

the woman here in coral springs had got them for protection from a ex husband.her boyfriend was complaining about this dog who was showing his teeth and growling at him and her 2 kids(9 and 14), wtf was she thinking?

im sorry but i dont care what the breed is,if i have kids in the house and my dog showed his teeth to my son,that animal would be outa here so fast ,i wouldnt ever take a chance with my son.this dog had to be shot by 3 police officers like 15 times to get it down. it took m16s in san fran i believe.

My grandmothers neighbor has a canary dog. It try to tear down the fence to get to her dog who was in heat. Canary dogs are massive

I have to say in my opinion even a breed known for being 'aggressive' can be trained to be more social. One of the people I work with has a 136 lb. Rotty and he is the sweetest dog. My cousin's BF also has a 120 lb. Dobey and I have never known him to even bark once. Absolutely love both dogs and would love to have one of my own. But people have to keep in mind when you get an aggressive dog as a pet, you are accepting the fact that something bad could happen. It's called having common sense.

And I thought at that time, it was a dark day for justice when that particular murder conviction was reduced to manslaughter. These bozos [one a lawyer I believe] who owned the dog were head-in-the-clouds types disregarding warnings they received about their dogs, and letting them move about unmuzzled.....yeah at trial they had a legion of witnesses saying how sweet and friendly those dogs were-> it's like those clueless idiots you see on occasion you see jogging with an unleashed pitbull beside them, thinking it's a cute statement to make about how sweet 'their' doggy is. Like russian roulette! These neglectful owners need to get accountabilty pimp-slapped into them by judges.

Dalmations are incredibly stupid dogs. My uncle had a dalmation/Great Dane mix. Not just a tuxedo great dane, but a mix so it seemed like a classic black and white great dane. That was a big scary stupid dog. It was unfortunate that it had to be put down, but it was just to big and stupid. It would have seriously hurt somebody at some point. It was an unfortunate mix breed. The dog had been trained, but it was just too big and mixed up in it's head to be safe around childrean (who it liked to chase and knock down and treat as "prey").
