when i log onto the server it will connect me then freeze up and reboot. happend twice today like that then at 1130 i was in ponri and played the both rounds and soon as we loaded up lag valley rebooted again.any1 heard of this or can give a comp illiterate player some help?

1 note -it says when i try to log in after rebooting that u/o didnt shut down properly and do i want safe mode to save the settings-when i do this it saves everything but i have to reset the graphics area.

Have you updated the PB,as that is causing alot of problems at the moment.

As for the safe mode,its cause you didn`t close the program down ,so it goes to safe mode.

Sounds like your computer is pulling to much electricity through your power supply. I had a cheap 450w a few months ago, and I would play for a while and then all the sudden.... It would reboot. I tore my computer apart several times and examined everything but the powersupply. Still had the problem. One day I left the pc running while I went to work. It was encoding video. I came home and my dad told me that he heard a loud pop and my room was filled with smoke. I ordered a new power supply. And I got a good name brand one-haven't had ANY problems since. People upgrade their computers all the time. But they don't realize they are putting more and more work on something that gets neglected in the pc update world. I'm almost willing to be thats your problem.

Could also be overheating. Make sure your CPU fan is working properly

Hey Undead 1,I was in that game last night,and noticed when PB kicked you it said NO Packet Flow......

I know from your past posts you have had this problem for some time now...No packet flow..I dont know what that means..Sometimes my game /computer tells me game not responding and asks to restart in safe mode.I always answer no and have no problems.My down loads are always set on.If i ever try to play on the COD server i always get kicked from PB.Strange thats the only server i cant remain on..Always get kicked..

My pc is a pent 4, dell XPS Gen 3 / 3.4 gig / 2 gigs of ram/ with a x800xt card..I wish i could be of more help..I'll be praying to the computer gods for ya ,Best of luck bud...

I saw a thread that Hamma responded to and he gave a web address,I really dont see a need for it because it really dos"nt bother me about not getting on COD west servers the only one i cant play on.However if i begin having problems in the future with PB i will download the link Hamma set up.Thanks Hamma.If its not broke dont fix it you know..Not to get off track but i know my buddy Jerrys' been haveing a lot problems with MD5 tool miss match.I dont know if thats PB related..Maybe??

This same exact thing has been happening to me as well. It only started this week though. Also, when my computer restarts, it asks for a disk to start up from. I must turn off the computer and restart again. Its very upsetting. I wonder if it does have something to do with the Punkbuster update. Please let me know if that fixes the problem.

ALSO when you do reboot you cant log onto that server for another 14 min it says,that made me scream then went to bed,lol!
