i saw the allman bros with the grateful dead in albany ny in the late 80s-THE BEST SHOW IVE EVER SEEN! ive seen alot of shows.

You lucky SOB. I love the Allman Brothers. I ve seen them twice and they can jam. That Dead and ABB show would have been amazing.

If it's have as good as Devo was last week than it will be an incredible show.

cowdoc,let me tell you-i had a boot leg that was so awesome from it as well and someone broke into my car at the phili spectrum show and stole 300 tapes.its the only one i miss.i did see the allman bros in south florida again in the late 90s but it wasnt the same and no where near that show,infact i dont remember much of it .

Best show i have ever seen!! Near the end of the concert they played Whipping Post, and oh my god.. Derek had a 45 minute solo..

It was absolutely incredible..

Warren and Derek switching off solos and greg jammin on the B3..

Absolutely amazing show!! And, Damn.. those brothers can jam!!

there is alot of controversy that derek could be the best guitar player in the world right now. sounds crazy but kinda believable.
