I have installed COD and the patch and have installed UO with patch and I get this....

"pak sum/name mismatch"

WTH?

can you guys help please?

thnx

Druid
Is this a brand new install?
The reason I ask is the only time I've seen this error is when a player has a mod in the /uo directory that conflicts with a stock file or a mod has a file with an embedded space.

If this is a fresh install, my guess would be a stock .pk3 file is corrupt.
If it's not a fresh install, remove all custom maps an mods until the problem goes away.

It is a fresh install.... I tried today to play a saved game from UO and it gave me this message then I un-installed to see if I was missing something somehow and it still gives me this message......thnx for the reply though.....

That was it to.... I un-installed again and this time I went into the program files directory and there was a folder left for COD, so I deleted it and re-installed and now I can play both single player and again download new maps ands mod's online..............thnx guy's, you saved my multi-playin !@# again...lol
