So, who do you guys want to win the World Series? I am a huge Mets fan, and I think they have a pretty good shot...I'm going to game 2 on thursday too, I can't wait!!!

My team didn't make it any where near the playoffs but I think the Twins will do well. They've been streaking the whole second half of the season. Good momentum.

I think the AL All-Stars I mean the New York Yankees will be hard to beat. Being as they litterally start All-Stars at every position. There are too many other teams with problems right now. The Cardinals forgot that they are in fact still playing basball, the Twins lost their second Ace, Detriot played around .500 ball the second half, the A's well they are the A's, Met's lost Pedro, the dodgers don't have Kirk Gibson to save them, and San Deigo seems to have played all year without anyone noticing.... my pick the Evil Empire....

one thing youve missed is the yankees middle relief is soft.if detroit didnt throw that one hr to giambi (mr greesy) they wouldve had a shot. that pitcher threw only 2 hrs the entire season and both to left handed batters .johnsons not going to be %100 and i think mussina is a little banged up to.last night was theyre best starting pitcher and i honestly dont think any starters (except maybe mussina) will last till the 7th.notice how they didnt use mariano?its becuase they used 4 middle relief and will need him to go an extra inning .
but dont get me wrong-pitching to this yankee line up is a nightmare,probably the best ive ever seen!i think its more a comfort thing,yanks are in the playoffs every year detroit i think last time was 87?

Im a White Sox fan and very unhappy that they did not make the playoffs this year. I must say I thought the Twins would do well, but they seem to be prooving me wrong.

I absolutely hate the Yankees and everything that damn owner of their team stands for. Yes they have all stars at most positions like someone mentioned earlier in this post, but they are not a "team" by any means. They also have no consistant pitching. Other than Wang, and he is not even a great pitcher, good at best. Unless they are able to just slug their way past everyone, they will not make it. And I will be happy when they do flop.
