It ended up improving my game a great bit and I got to see the nice balance of seriousness and humor on the vent channel last night.
It probably helped that the Russians were destroying the Germans, but then part of that might have been b/c more than half the Russians were on vent together. Thanks to Stickman, Spectre, Rommel, TBN, Goosedown and MOD.

I tend to focus on the game in chat, and sometimes get too serious (you'll hear a swear or two...I apologize in advance). On the other hand, someone like Goose will give you goose hunting and cooking tips in game (seriously...first time I joined vent, goose was telling someone the proper method to cook goose!). But anyway I figured out eveyone on vent loves to win!
Truth is, my one fear about vent has proven unfounded. I figured a lot of times there'd be total a-holes who you would just want to tell to shove it all the time, and it'd make the game experince sucky when that happened...but it never has. Everyone in MOB, at least when on Vent, is totally cool. The arguing usually only takes place here!
