Lt. G Reaper and Agent Inky, two of the people I normally play with on FK's server, have just downloaded the new map pack, and can't join now.
They both had no problem earlier, but now that they have downloaded the new pack and installed it they can't get in. It load's about 3/4 of the way then they get "server disconnected". I was in game and it said nothing in the console about why they were disconnected.

Anyone else having this problem???

I myself have had no problems, as of yet.

I had no trouble today....I got kicked when a new map came on...went and DL'ed the new pack joined and had no trouble.

It did seem as though there were fewer players on there today and tonight though

I also had no problem Just make sure its the right pack

I talked to both of them and the both assure me that it was pack 15, but they are still having trouble getting in...

have they tried to overwrite the file again. sometimes you can get a bad download.

Yeah EagleEye, I had them both re-download the map pack, and re-install it
but it didn't work for either of them.. any other suggestions?

I have never even re-loaded my game, just deletd out the maps and crosshair that was there and loaded all the map packs into it. It has kicked me on occasion... never knew why. But every time I just re-enter and all is fine. One thing though, have they tried just deleting all the maps and reinstalling them? I noticed on the download page the file description says it is going to remove some maps the server will no longer be running. Maybe it skipped that in the process?

As to that, I also play in another sv_pure server, i have a large enough hard drive to have two directories for mohaash. This way I dont have to worry about maps, crosshairs, blood mods, etc. (just a thought)

Okay I walked Inky through the re-install process.. He removed everything and re-downloaded all the mappacks.
When he tried to get in it said
"Agent_Inky Unpure client detected invalid .pk3 files" in console

Now we just download all the files for fk's server striaght off of MOB's site.
the only other files that were in there were the ones that were supposed to be, and there were no other .pk3 files in there.

So my question again is WHY??????

Agent Inky and Lt. G. Reaper still can't get into the server and god only know's who else can't get in, and so those two myself and TeamCanada have all been playing a different server because they can't get in here.

This may be a stupid question, but did he do all the updates? i.e. 2.11,2.15? The map, Malta is added in with 2.11 update(.pk3/map).

Hmmm good question L.B., I never thought to ask him. i will check in on that tomorrow when I talk to him.

How is this for wierd? I just went to a buddies house to reinstall and update his software, including mohaa. I set it up the way I have mine. But when I tried to connect to the server it kept kicking him. I looked into the directory, nothing. But when I looked into the main, not the mainta directory it had a pak file renamed to .rra extension. Any of you guys ever hear of this? I am going over today to reinstall mohaa on his machine (he is kinda computer goofy) and I will see if it happens again.
