Nice score Scruff... I just cant get the handle on that map. I often find it more entertaining jumping off the fridge to my death!

i have to say its hard to imagine any map that Cpt. Canuck cannot get a handle on...but wow scruffers certainly much more improved then the cassino scruff of old !

im making the switch to mac. idk if u know specs but its gonna be a macbook 2.0GHz (better than my comp now) 1 gig (by far better than my comp now) 80 gigs of free space (dont even speak about what i have) and a 64mb video card that just comes wit it

Im fairly certain that a 64mb video card will not run COD2 at all. I did have a 128 when I first started to play COD2 and my FPS were around 20-40. Now with my 256 it runs higher, but im pretty sure you will hate playing COD2 with a 64, thats even if it will work at all.

plus dude - in my opinion you've spent enough. do you want to spend so much more for a video card that you might not need? see how it is before you go buy a new one. it might suit you fine.

Just depends on if you can buy it at a better price with a better graphic card in it already. 64 is pretty slow man. Lip, what are you running on now? Remember, your fps is low as it is. Im sure the graphics card is the reason. I think the graphics card makes a world of difference. Guess Lip cant see it unless you play with it.

i have a god awful shitty card - some integrated video that came with the computer. i got a gig of ram and my lag is completely gone. ---> though i'm sure it would help your FPS (as DDz said) which might make you a bit faster in gameplay. but i wouldn't spend hundreds of dollars for "a bit faster". i mean if you have god awful amounts of lag (i would be a lot that you will have none..) then sure get one. but i'm just saying - don't buy one unless you're SURE you want one and NEED one. i play with all graphics, sound, etc on the very lowest. i don't care how it appears as long as i can play without lag its cool. and if i can do that with MY computer i'm sure you won't have a problem with your brand new one.

I completely get what your saying Lip, but having gone from a lower card to a higher card. The play is way different. I was getting by good before with cheaper card, but there is no comparision after having a new card. I also have my graphics turned to low. I want the higher fps. I only have the sound turned high so I can hear people sneaking up on me. I play on my friends computer sometimes, and OMG. Going from mine to his is unbelievable. Its like I cant play on there anymore. One day Lip, you will see.

As lip said, i could care less about graphics, i mean if u turn them on all the way low, its still really cool, almost cartoony haha.. all im looking for is absolutely no lag and i cant even tell you how much better i am wit it. whenever i play on my friends COD with alienware, i never get close to even .

the comp im at right now is 448RAM, prolley 32 video card, and 2.4GHz so if im getting2G of RAM and a 64, itll be fine. i mean, i do have a budget. the only macs with 128MB cards are $2000.00
