The PS3 came out today and was wondering if any one has it or is getting it. And if u have it, how good is it?

Goose said they were going for $3,000.00 on ebay....to much money at that price. I usually wait for them to work the bugs out.

i wouldn't buy one for atleast a year until the blueray among other things prove there value!

Release in Europe is in March 2007, figure that out I´ll buy it sometime next year or ´08, after the price is lower and we know better the game selection. Also you would need HD television to get all the benefic from the graphics of games. It´s gonna be expensive......

I bought the PS2 the day it came out. Biggest mistake ever. Buggy, Disc Read Errors, doesn't like certian discs or DVDs, loud as hell, the fans run all the time (unlike later models).



I'll buy the ps3 when the ps4 comes out.

Well Ive been told its goin for $10,000 on ebay brand new right out of the box....I personally perfer to buy the Wii because its going to have the latest Super smash brothers....a game i play daily......

as for as buying the first marketed models as soon as they come out isnt a good idea
A. Costs like a mofo
B. Too many glitches
C. To hard to get.....duh

I just looked on ebay and i saw one going for $29,950...... OMG THATS NOT WORTH IT!!!!!

There was a videoclip on Break.com, where guy bought brand new PS3 and then smashed it to the street in front of hundreds desperate guys waiting to get their console!!!!!!! Think about that ..........

They are actually not that expensive. They screwed up the order and only shipped half the amount to North America compared to the amount they were supposed to. So the people are just selling there pre-orders on ebay to people who really really want ps3 and willing to pay a nice bit of money to get it. This will all die down when the next shipment comes in.

I bought a ps2 less than a month ago. So at that rate I'll buy the PS3 in 2012. I'm too cheap to drop $599 on one at a retailer and sure am not going to drop 1-30k on it.

I bought my x-box about a year after it came out and only bought one game, Madden. I hadn't played it since last football season and played it once at the begining of this season. It was horribly lame. I quit after about 5 minutes and having scored on my first play of my first possesion.
I'm saving up for a new pc.

i will have one as soon as metal gear solid 4 is out but thats the only game i wanna play for it so ill end up payin 650 for one game. but as far as the ps3 i love ps lots of games and the graphics look amazing

Save your money. My buddy is a Sony Sales Rep and he has one. We've been playing it the last few days (fall of man). I mean it's great and all, but the jump in graphics and performance seems smaller than it was between PS1 and PS2. If developers don't put the effort in to making great looking games then your left with a marginal improvement over PS2.

The Blue-Ray coding may not become dominant in the market so the movie side benefit may be worthless down the road.

The best part might be the on-line multiplay, but I can't seem to find anybody else on-line. (?)
