He was able to figure out a work-around for it somehow. You might PM him or try to catch him on Barbarossa and ask him how he did it. If I see him I will tell him you are asking..
ya if anyone see him tell assault trooper to leave a post here i cant find him on the servers i keep missing him.i would like to talk to him befor i just install xp again thanks
sorry, i haven't checked forums and played in a while, its madness in school...
Well I really didn't trully fix it and i am still playing arund with it, but apparently its all fault of PB, or so it seems, so basically install the game, go into the Cod folder and pb, copy it and save somewhere, cause everytime you'll play(or even try to turn it on) it'll try to update itself and some reason it brakes down. So everytime you want to play Cod simply recopy and replace over the pb file in cod folder...
If this dosen't fix the problem, I got another way, and it works 95% of the time... basically you copy the cod folder and save it somewhere... and everytime you want to play recopy and replace the existing cod folder with the copied one... you can keep like maps and the settings which are appropiate files...
and one last thing... its very important... you have to restart the computer after you replace the cod or pb folder... and after you do so and it restarts you have to turn on cod like immediatly(don't ask me why) cause apparently if you try to check mail or screw around not doing anything for round 5 minutes it won't work... I honestly have no explonation why this works but it works... most of the time, it bothers me not because the great graphics and performance outweigh the problems...
if you did't understand what I wrote above, worry not because i just re-read it and it made no sence to me either... and if you really din't undrstuud or it didn't work just post here that u didn't and I'll tell u in details, but for now I have a math project to do... and you can always feed the kids with grass, its nutricious...(thank god my english teacher dosen't see all them mistakes, lol)
