I have charter. It works sometimes. Thinking about paying my bill sometimes. Call about an issue they start with telling me to power cycle my modem then suddenly "there's an outage in your area". Can I have someone to follow up with to see that this is corrected? Seems that you have an outage at the same times every day. "You can call this number again".... Try email you get an automated response telling you to call the number.... Try the online chat it's like the call only they just cut you off if you demand a way to follow up. Nothing like a monopoly to keep you coming back. Got me by the balls and not a damn thing I can do.... Whores all of em. I can FEEL your pain.

I have comcast, and I have to say overall I am quite satisified. It should work all the time with the amount I pay. Problem is when it does go down and I call I gwt the same response you get junkie. and i then ask the person on the other line if they are even in the same state I am calling in and of course they are not so they have no idea what is going on where I am at. Drives me crazy.

I've got Sudden Link (formally Cox Communications here), and as much as I dislike some of the stupid things they do, I have never had a problem with my connection. Only outages I've ever had were after a big storm or two, and the service was always back up pretty quick.

been down most the day but i have to agree with ouch as ive rarely had problems and my conection speed is saweet ! i am a stickler though so if my connection is down for the whole day i usually complain and they give me a credit ,which is usually my monthly isp bill . we are getting ready for hurricane season so im gonna guess and say they are shoring up all loose and old lines,doubt itll work-underground is the only option!

anyway hopefully ill run into you guys again tomorrow ,im on 10 to 12 every day.

I have Road Runner and have never had the slightest problem,

I get about a 48 Ping to MOB servers from Maine, so I am pretty solid.

I do have to cycle the modem once in awhile. No big deal.
