Hi Steel,

I keep having a problem with custom map zzzzz_Steel_modw6.pk3 on the new MWCM. After playing on this server (just fine) and then try to go to Barbarossa, it give me an unpure map error and I have to delete it to join.

Any suggestions????

Try this, just close down CoD and then re-open it. Not really sure what exactly goes on, but the job seems to get done and that's all I care about.

Meowman's suggestion will work just fine, shut down coduo and reopen it. MWCM is not the problem, rather, Barbarossa is and the same problem exists with the Tuchola server. MWCM operates from it's own custom subfolder above your /uo folder. Barb and Tuch should also be setup this way, and then you would have to simply go back to your main coduo screen and select those server's mods, instead of mwcm.

Ive had the same problem but all i do is click on a different mod and launch it then click on the barbarossa server and i go right in

I had the same problem last night Joe. In the past another suggestion has been to just pull out Barb to play Modern then put in back in when you're done. This worked after re-starting COD didn't. I also threw away any .text files and even Steel's mod and let it re-download. After that Modern Weapons worked, then i got worked on Modern Weapons. So as you see, a few things can work.

Ah, if you found a steel modern weapon mod in your /uo directory, you did not get it from mwcm. You got it from playing on some other modern weapons server.

Keep in mind that many modern weapons servers are running one of my steel weapons mods. And if those servers are not setup correctly, if they are downloading their steel mod into your /uo directory, then yes, the mod will have to be deleted before you can play other modded servers.
