is there a way to limit the shell shock one recieves in game ? i ask because %40 of my deaths are from stupid shell shock . i had a guy on our server tonight that i hit on three seperate encounters ,all three with in a split second leaned around wall and took me down with one shot. im not one to scream hack but i have to say "come on!" anytime im remotely brushed (and not killed) i get ss and cant even move let alone lean around and cap some one half way across the map ,lmao!

Great suggestion. Several of the guys have asked about this but I've been swamped working on other issues.

I can't turn off shellshock because it's built-in to coduo, but I did turn off the painscreen. I've turned it off in both mwcm and mwba. No one was in mwba just now so I restarted that server and so the change will take effect immediately. But there are already a bunch of players in mwcm, so it will have to wait until tomorrow morning's (Saturday's) server reset.

By shell shock do you mean from grenades only? Or also when you are shot and you have that momentary jerk/disorientation of your player? Is this what the Painscreen is Steel?

im talking about cod 2 and its for both . i always get ss but i hit people above the chest or witnessed the nade go off close to them and quickly they turn jump or whatever and cap me with one shot. its happend alot and id say i get smoked because of this %40 of my deaths. i know these certain players are not getting shell shocked and im wondering if theres a setting ?

Oh, I took it all out of mwba and mwcm today.... meaning, the bright red screen that happens when someone wounds you or an explosion of any sort happens nearby.

Don't know about cod2. Shell shock should affect all players equally. Maybe OMM knows something about this.
