Hello all

My son and I would like to play together on the same servers. We have tried and one comp. always gets booted, usually the second one that tries to connect. Does anyone know how to make playing on the same server possible with a single dsl connection?

We have one dsl connection (dsl modem)

a linksys router for networking (works great)

two copies COD & CODUO (diff. key codes)

one AMD 64 3400 +

one AMD 64 x2 3800 +

Thanks Much

Interesting. I have 4 computers connected to my DSL using a linksys router and have no problems at all. When you say booted, is it a PB boot or ? Need more info.

yes i have 2 computers going on my dsl with a netspeed router....no problem playing in same server.

The last couple I helped with this problem, as it turned out, had accidentally mixed up and used the same CDkey when they installed the games on the two computers. They simply put the other CDkey in one of the computers, and presto, they were okay again.

Yes as steel said I bet that is what your problem is. You should get some sort of error message when the one person gets booted. I have 4 comp hooked up to a router and play the game quite often with my son and daughter. Hopefully the cd key is the problem, that will probably be the easest to fix.

Thank You everyone for your input, the message I was getting was server disconnected. I manually updated PB on my son's machine and now everything is working fine. Now both of us can play should be great fun now!!! See you on the battle field.

Thank You All
