redmax
OK, I didn't think its possible, but during play, mouse becomes virtually "unplugged" and re connects in about a few seconds. This happens at the most in opportune time and get wasted. Only happens during COD

Any suggestions ?

I'm not finding you as having played on any of our cod or cod2 servers. Are you using a different name in-game? Which server are you playing when it happens?

Umm, if this is the "redmax" I know, he spells his name with special characters. Like *MR*R3[)M@X is his current one (I think).

I had the issue before, and it was because my USB mouse was plugged into a PS/2 converter, then into my computer. Removed the converter, plugged in to usb directly, and problem gone. Might have been just a loose connection or pin.

Also had the issue one when I had another game running in the background. Whoops! So, make sure no porcessor hogging program is running as well.

That would be me..... I think Im plugged into a USB port and nothing is running in the backround, I believe.

Never heard of that problem. Sometimes the USB's are set-up to go to sleep (power down) when not in use. Possibly this is your problem. Go to Device Manager and Power Managment tab and uncheck "allow computer to turn off to save power".

Also, try updating your USB drivers. Can be done in the some tab.

I'll also point out the obvious that your mouse or usb port may be going bad. Plufg into a different USB port, if that does work, plug in different mouse.

Of course, I assume you already cold booted the computer at least once.
