You could try this -- Go to your Control Panel - Date and Time. Click on the tab Internet Time. Click Update Now to see if your computer can syncronize its time via the internet. If it goes through okay, then shut down your computer and bring it up again and see if the error is gone.

If it doesn't work you could change it to not synchronize the time via the internet, and set your time manually.

Plus in either case, I'd run every virus scan and spyware scan I have.

There are many more things you can try, but see if you can get this far first.

Reboot in safe mode and try and run your virus/malware scanner. If that doesn't work, download a free trial one and try same again. I think you have something.

Also, before this gets out of hand, after you run a virus check if things still aren't working right, perhaps you should restore your registry from an restore point before all these troubles began.

IActually I was gonna recommend system restore but don't do it since you now uninstalled your previous anti-virus] might really mess things up.]
. Here's the windows malicious software removal tool - to check your windows system files only;
may be worth a try; http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...;DisplayLang=en
I once had probs with the time also- I synchronize with this link;
time.nist.gov
no probs since.
