i got the demo when it came out and was very happy to see my rates as high as they were. when looking at a bignine image the rates would easily be in the 250 - 300's and during game play or even looking in the burn piles it would still be well over 150fps. when i am playing the actual game i seem to be capped. when the "starting match" screen is up i am getting 70fps with no variation and while in game it is solid at 91fps. i have attempted to uncap using the seta com_maxfps 0 command but it does not uncap.

can someone give me a hint or a link to any related information they have found.

The console command in multiplayer does'nt seem to be working correctly.I cannot get the command ,cg_drawfps 1 to function, but it works in single player mode. Also Jesse James discovered that if you enter the multiplayer game hit escape once the map loads and go to multiplayer options at that point, you can put in your full name, including the tags and the correct brackets.

Try cg_drawfpsLabels "1"

I edited my config file to this and it is working in MP.
