I was asked by quite a few of the non-Mob regulars if i could ask the follwoing question; Is there any way to keep modded weapons and ditch the Dragunov? on the UO Mod weapons BAS, it has gotten to the point where alot of the players cant even navigate out of spawns because of the Drag. You're spawned, and someone too far away to see immediately smokes you.

None of the folks complaining are saying that they want to see an end to spawn killing, or sniping, but the Dragunov seems to have become the weapon of choice for people who want to rack up points with very little effort or skill involved. I know everyone is all about COD4 now, and the UO boards are widely unused by MOB, but is there any chance of getting rid of the Drag?

Cool. I am a big fan of sniping (I am a deer hunter after all) so its not the aspect of getting picked off by a sniper, but it's just become too easy for anyone with even the least ammount of skill to pick people off. I very have used the Drag, I prefer bolt action sniping myself.

There's no chance of my ever doing another modern weapons mod for coduo. So the only chance of getting rid of the drag is for someone else to start doing weapons mods for coduo.

Oh, ok, thats cool enough. I just know that when i went in the other day, I was the only Mob player on the board, and 2 guys started asking if it was possible to get rid of it. I dont really do the BAS all that much, I'm more of a Tuchola fan, and as far as mods go, I dont usually do BAS when the TDM is up (many thanks for that Steel!).
