Is there an option for none of the above? Apparently I'm a concervative Republican (who knew?) ha! But I don't like any of the candidates. I want one to say "I'll keep illegal's out, You in control of your healthcare, and I'll not raise your taxes." Not sure I'll get that from anyone though.

Well that thing is just a little bit out of whack. It said I needed to vot for Hillary, which aint gonna happen unless its a very cold day in hell. Im not a CONSERVATIVE per se, but I'm not a LIBERAL either.
They dont factor in those of us who are jaded all around, do they? It's like Louis Black said about the last election; it isnt so much a choice between Republican vs. Democrat or good vs. bad, as it is the choice between two bowls of sh#t. You just have to figure out which one smells worse.
One things for sure, putting that prima donna Oprah up on stage with obama aint helpin his case much with me.

You can have Gordon Brown (Brit Prime Minister). Saves us getting rid of him.
Here is what i get:
Illinois Senator Barack Obama (D)
74.19% match
You are number 1,701,302 to use the Candidate Calculator.
I was planning on voting for Clinton though.

Thanks for sharing that site, Lloyd.
One of the things I really like about these calculators is they can give all of us a whack upside the head. They certainly can stir up our thinking a little bit.
It is so incredibly easy for us to overlook politicians who might be closer to our own beliefs simply because we are suckered into thinking about life through the two-party system.
Can you imagine a political system where we'd vote on politicians by voting on the issues instead of the personality? I think that could be a real improvement. We'd all have to vote by using a site like this. We'd be free of all the political horse race crap and we'd all be able to concentrate strictly on the issues at hand. Wow, that'd be downright dangerous ... an informed electorate!!

I got a 78% Kucinich, I'm not much of a UFO fan though. So far I am uninspired by the choices on both sides. The "I'll say anything to get elected" disease is rampant this year. Primaries are coming up and it looks like I will go to the polls blindfolded and holding my nose.
Who the hell is Mike Gravel, ah who cares i'm voting for him i guess. As for illegals, i live on a border state and all i hear all day long is how Sheriff Joe Arpaio is violating their rights - phooey! What rights? There are huge rallies, protests & boycotts in support of ILLEGALS here. Build the minefield and go to a rally and arrest all the illegal aliens, hey they are making it easy gathering in huge crowds for the plucking. Plus i hate being called a racist for having these views, it's my country not theirs. Shazbot now descends from his soap box and goes back to work.
