Some People are getting "NOTICE-Server disconnected" message when trying to connect to 1.3 cod 4 servers. What is happening is happening is that when its shows this message, it goest to a black screen then goes to the main menu, some slower computers cant keep up with this fast game, the fix- The server admins must add this line to their server config file:

sv_connectTimeout 300
(It is set to 45 in default)

However, can you provide the link where you obtained this info? I believe the sv_connectTimeout is defined in seconds and is typically changed on the client side. I did find a comment from someone that had tried 300 seconds instead of the default of 45 seconds at the server side but I would like to see additional info if available. 300 seconds = 6 mins and that seems to be a very long time for a connection attempt.

Good enough. However, it is still hard to understand why increasing anything from 45 seconds to 300 seconds can make a big difference since many may give up before 45 seconds. But maybe not.

Yeah, if you want to play badly enough, you might need paitience when this happens.Ive had that happen to me 3 or 4 times in the past week, but when I go back and rejoin the game, it works just fine.
