I've turned on "Friendly head icons" in the Hardcore servers, to help identify teammates. There were complaints earlier (can't find it in the forums right now) that it was hard to tell teammates from enemies when friendly fire was on. So, this should help.

If it's too distracting, just let me know and I'll shut it off.

I didn't know this was possible or I would have asked for it sooner. Since I'm red/green color blind, the name labels don't mean anything to me. So it's uniforms only, and that is not always easy to differentiate. Wonder if TWL will have these tags?

About a week or so ago when I installed the game, went multiplay (before single player) and entered the first server i picked. It was a packed TDM, small map server, with FF on. I could not tell who was who and ended up 3-44 I think. Almost uninstalled the game right then I was so pissed off. LoL.

Something wierd about the friendly head icons though... sometimes they don't show up for some of the players, on a per-map basis. I mean, you'll see them in a map and maybe the next map you won't, but everyone else will. Must be some kind of game glitch. We noticed it today.

I too am color blind. I finally learned to tell the uniforms apart but sometimes that is still difficult. This should be helpful.

I must admit, the friendly icons drive me nuts...Not sure why haha.

Whats going on with the death-cam, though? Totally bogus that I can watch my enemies...Was this intentional?

ya that deathcam has gotta go...you can fly around and hunt enemies while your dead.

I turned on spectate the other day so we would all be able to check-out suspected hackers. Didn't realize it would allow dead players to spec their enemies too, lol. Didn't work this way in coduo or cod2.

But then again, in cod2 and coduo, you don't have to pick a team before you are able to get into spectate.

Okay, I fixed it, now you can only spec teammates.
