I try to stay out of the mix that the others are in. Im here for my friends I made in MOB. If some have problems with where I play or who I play with, then I dont consider them friends and dont care what they think. I dont need to check with anyone.

----> I might head to the BOS server on Friday, but the noobs in BAS playing like its tdm when there's a base to plant/defuse 2 yards from them tend to make my blood pressure rise, so generally you could find me at Happy Penguin in tdm 24/7 Foy- where punishing camping noobs is a true pleasure.

You know what’s sad? We were all sitting on vent trying to remember the name of that MOB server that had the map with cable cars and a mountain. None of us could. I finally had to google it. Anybody remember that one?

loved the map but it always was crashing and it was so big ,you had to have alot of people or it sucked. the nights when it was full and lag /crash free were alot of fun.reminded me of where eagles dare.also for the record ,i always seem to be a sucker for the winter maps.my all time favorite was vitebks (less the forest).i wouldve really liked to see an expansion to u/o ,it was awesome!

no offense but everytime ive tried to log on to your server i have a problem.i play euro servers all the time,even in cod 4 . it will not let me log in.

I'm done with BAS myself- I'll only show up at BoS if I can bear myself to do so.... most maps I don't mind there except the russian ones and Foy--- nooooobsville.
I'll try out cuf next time but will likely stick to foy24/7 at HP with no 88s to fear.
Broadsword -not amongst my all-time faves personally.

Sorry I got in Foy server very late last nite, but from what I heard, it looked quite slow- I imagine you went to BoS almost after arriving there and seeing it so empty.

Anyway I think this Foy server is in its dying days except for Sundays- alot of regulars have left it- including HP clan members.

So I went looking for another server -IF you can play without tanks -only jeeps+88s , I stumbled across the best of the best in terms of activity - it had 35+ players at 4am est last night!!!! Pretty standard play though on UO stock maps, but it is busy

It's funny, the new pc makes the game run so smooth that now I've got to learn how to aim and shoot again. Instead of leading and hitting people I'm now leading and missing. I've got to actually aim AT people, lol.

Last night Bar was telling me of your Mighty-ness-ness in MOHAA Robert....

I was wondering with Bar if you're trying to play too strategical and thinking too much as to your battlefield options. Perhaps you can adopt a game-play mode that I find useful- being neanderthal full-steam ahead tyype of killing machine - you'll die alot at first, but soon after things instinctively creep into that system of play that become reflexive behaviours you naturally carry out - the split second difference between thinking of what to do as opposed to snap reaction of doing things gives you the edge in higher points ratios. Kind of like the Bruce Lee principle [in Game of Death] he's teaching a kung fu student and asking him what he'd do in a fight - he gets a pimp-slap from Bruce when he starts of with " I think.... [POW]" ....Bruce says [paraphrase] "don't think-just react".
Anyway I look forward to seeing you with some new aggressive score ratios Mr.Druid.

The beauty of the new system is that I had all the settings maxed and I was getting 91 fps. The game just moves so fluidly when your system can handle it.
Anyway, I'm rusty, but now that I'm playing again I'll get better.

What a nice and diplomatic way to dismiss my crappy scores
Hey, Two Thumbs up for trying.

Bar must be remembering another Druid because even in Mohaa I was only a decent player.
Overall I was above average player but by MOB standards I was definitely always one of the weakest.
I'm one of those people who can only put up good scores if I play ALL the time.
Build up those twitch reflexes but take a break and my scores quickly drop off.
That's okay as I'm not a competitive person by nature.
Even though my scores sucked I actually had a lot of fun on the server.
Proably the most fun I've had playing COD:UO since Barb.
It just really threw me for a loop how different the maps play as CTF versus BAS.
Once I get use to that, I'm sure my scores will climb right back up to middle of the pack.

I had enough fun last friday that I'll probably be ranomly hitting that server during the week.
Maybe I'll se you there.

Oh yes- you'll see me there I'm very glad you love the server too -it really is back to fun CoD basics.
Your 'fun' attitude is the right one - my first year on MOB servers broke my competiveness-only frame of mind and I began to play for fun as well for the first time. Years later I still have some cranky fits with remnants of competitiveness still in my blood boiling up on occasion, but I now love the fun.... it in fact encourages me to get right in the thick of things. But on DD Russian rural maps I remain purely defensive on those sniper infested battlefields

Give me liberty or give me...
-Spawn raping with arty/ satchels
-sniping mr.nice guy drivers who kindly wait in their spawn to pick up riders
-beeping at an enemy in a jeep who you are about to run down in your jeep -or send them flying off a hill 30 feet in the air with a similar impact
-beeping at a group of enemy as you plow into 3 or 4 of them who are idiotically grouped together
-My favourite - getting in a fair-set duel with someone where you both use up your rifle/ pistol ammo [yep-that scene in Saving Private Ryan] but you have balls to pull out your bazooka and finish off the deal... or in my case -usually kill myself only in that stunt.

Great thing about DD servers is that the place is nearly half-full to packed and the lack of tanks nullifies lag issues -especially on Rhine Valley.
