Ok, I mentioned it in Rob's 'Friday Night' thread, but I think I'll give it its own mention here;

No tanks. About a dozen stock maps. CTF. Anywhere between 30-50 players on average at ALL times. One hour matches/ 6 flag captures wins-whichever is first.
So although no glamour with planes/tank ownage/bases to blow/modern weapons, etc .... if you like good old fashioned CoD infantry [and 88] slugfests versus alot of competition [and targets ] this IS the server to try out.
Imagine playing the Rhine Valley map with hardly any lag!? Imagine not getting mauled by heavies on the Kursk map!? This one's all infantry skills or defensive tactical know-how...... A true team effort map with the side lacking in CTF team tactics losing even if owning in the kills stats.

Everyone should give it a look to see if we want to make it part of our friday rotation.

I used to frequent that server late at night back in the day. This was when {MOB} had Barb 24/7 and around 2 or 3am it would empty out. I was still good for a couple more hours so I'd find a server(sometimes that one) and play it. I had a good time, it got frustrating though. They have some really good snipers that play there and they will chew you up if you dawdled.

Hmm... I'm trying to get back into UO. Played only a little bit the other day... I'll check out this server tho Hellf.

Heyyyy Pancakes great to see you back! mmmmmmmmmmm, yes the Russian maps are pretty brutal in terms if being caught in the open is a good chance you'll be sniper fodder very fast.

I played there for about 45 minutes, it was alright.
I actually prefer CTF or any obj style over TDM.
I think it's because in OBJ play even weak players like me can be beneficial to the team.

Hit me up on xfire if you guys are on there. I'd join in for a round of ctf here and there. UO is enough like cod2 that I can still shoot a rifle
