Like I said earlier, I understand you have a problem following whats going on because of the language barrier.
Steel/Mike installed the forum, then failed to keep it updated.
The version MOB was using was over a year old and 5 months past it's end of life date.
I told them it was in desperate need of updating before it got hacked, so they updated it.
What you don't understand is no one told me about the forum update, I told them.

While Heated might be the one who is taking care of the forum now. I know Mike is the one who originally paid $180 for the license and Steel did the setup. Also Mike/Steel are the ones who original setup the forum to use the stupid admin authorize on new accounts. Which I see Heated has been smart enough to change back to email activation like every other forum on the planet.
So here is an interesting question.
If I was smart enough to be right about Overheated. Doesn't that also mean I'm right about the other ones?
I don't expect an answer, we'll just leave that question hanging out there.

While updating the forum will prevent some script kiddy from easily hacking the forum. The update did zero to prevent automated spam-bots. The newer updated version of the forum does comes with the option of using CAPTCHA in place of the simpler word/graphic challenge to keep out bots. For a long time CAPTCHA was the gold standard but it's not anymore. If you do a search you will see it's now been bypassed. Your best option to prevent the spam-bots is the same suggested fix for the old version.

Also enable the Question and Answer Verification system.
Do those two things an you'll never have another automated spam-bot register. You may still have the random person sign up an do a spam post but those 2 changes will block 100% of the automated bots.

I will admit along with realdeal that I have not read the entire thread, nor do i intend to because i would rather not become any more disappointed than i already am. I have been checking into the forums here and there since i shipped overseas and I feel the same way SG feels. It's sad to see that such a great place where so many friends were made has turned into such a trench. I've started playing mohaa when it hit the shelves and i was in a few great clans before i found MOB. It was the best and that's why i stuck around and played the game here until it died. Some of you may want to take a step back and take a little bit of tradition into account before you claim those tags you wear. Many have come before you, and great people at that. I can only go off of what I heard on the mic...if i could imagine what a seizure sounds like...I would have to think it's exactly what you had going on. Maybe a mixture of tourettes and a seizure. Yeah, everyone seemed to come back. We got enough to start a new MOB all over again. lol

I have no idea Diesel, I stopped playing games for a long time after I left DMG, didn't even realize they played CoD2. Ashe and a lot of the older guys were playing CoD4 for awhile a couple months back, but everyone sort of lost interest I guess, I just started trying to find something to play again and none of them are to be found yet. 
I actually got word last week that DMG is officially dead. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. It's done and everyone has moved on. Got the word from Girl W/Guns.
would rather see the community grow rather then suffer. the loss of older community driven clans does more harm then good.

Yea I had figured, knew Girls and Stupad were still playing WoW, don't know if anyone else is with them. Pretty sure a few of the DMG guys were closet WoW players. I went to play in IW's mohaa server and got banned after playing 5 minutes on Remagen.
