Druid:

I have noticed several cases of different types of lag in playing. Anybody have any (positive) input let me know.

1. In the French Village when you are in the room that has several boxes and several small steps leading to the big room (the building RealDeal using to get onto the roof to kill my ass) overlooking the courtyard.

I have notice that when you are moving up the small steps your play is slowed down even to the point of jerking. I have noticed this on several other maps at certain places. My question is? Is this part of the game or can this be controlled?

2. The more concerning problem of lag is when you are setting up an ambush (maybe camping to some) and the enemy rounds the corner where you see him with both parties firing at each other and he re-appears to the left or right of you depending on which way he is leaning. And your dead. What causes this? Dropped packets? Bad connection from my ISP or is it a property of MOB's connection?

Yea, i have the same type of problem--

In stalingrad, by the two flights of stairs that there is always a battle at. When I am at the top of the stairs in the doorway, and i peek around the door, i cant see any1 or anything in the hallway opposite the top of the stairs. I've tested it by throwing a nade in there and it dissapears until it explodes. the area above the boiler room.

That hallway issue is in the game itself, nothing anyone can do, EA isnt really supporting it anymore. ABout the lag you guys can try "rate 30000" in console, and if your lag gets worse try "rate 25000" keep trying numbers till you get best ping, stock rate is 10000 I think

What is the corret syntax for typing in the rate 30000 or 25000?

Is it "rate 30000"?

And if this helps, is there a way to make the change permanent?

The server's max rate is set at 10000, I highly doubt a client side setting higher than that will make any difference on the game.

it does Druid, many MOB players as well as regs do it, and when you type in "rate 30000" it is permanent unless you change it back

I just wondering y is the servers lagging so much ......my ping is usually at like 50 and now its like at 100 to 150 or more specailly in a fire fight ...........plus i reformatted my hd.........can that be the problem y i lag on your sever

ok i understand the rate thing but i have to type this in the console

make sure you have your connection set right in your multiplayer options. I.E. Set it to cable if you have cable internet. This is the same thing as changing your rate.
