Full Version: Missionary Only?
Is there any set times when {MOB} has their {MOB} Goodfellows server set at missionary only?
Hopefully now. But it will more than likely kill the server like it has done with everyone else except for peak times. Still the numbers will decrease.
Right now there are 5 people who can switch the game over to missionary only whenever they want, it comes down to people just doing it.
The biggest stopping blocks right now to going missionary full time is,
1) A lack of support, not enough people know about the program and even less are willing to use it. We are working to hopefully change this.
2) Right now the program lacks lag-free play for everyone using it. This is a very difficult problem because it's different for everyone. The only step we can take right now is allowing the option for people to use what ever version runs best for them.

One time I suggested that you start Missionary after a certain time lets say 6 or 7 pm EST.There are a few of us that play sometime during the day but I believe most of the regulars come out in the evening.
Just an FYI - there have been almost 850 downloads of Missionary from our site alon since 1/1/04.... It has caught on somewhat and will continue to.

they have to use it. is it causing you that many problems that you cant use it?

i know they have to use it, but thru 4 maps the console never once said Busta Nut was using missionary. so this leads to the question of why should everyone else use missionary but not MOB. this is my only problem with it.
COL Mustard there have been times when people including my self have logged on with Missionary and for some reason it does not list you as using it .You can ask some of the other regulars that visit our server and I bet some will tell you the same thing.

It has happened to me a few times and Im sure if Busta was not using it was due to a problem encountered with missionary that was not easily fixed ie not loading, main.exe not working etc. With any update, these problems are to be expected with a program like this. If it wasnt working for him, he probably wanted to get some time in on the game since his (and all of our) game time is limited. I find your comments pretty lame in the fact that you are so eager to dissmiss an anti-cheat measure so readily because one member of MOB for unknown reasons played 4 maps w/o it. It seems to me that you are just looking for any excuse not to use the software. Maybe you should try a different approach in your posts in the future, something like "I was on the server today and noticed Busta Nut was not on the missionary list for 4 maps. Is he having problems with his missionary?" This would not only come off better and avoid negative replies, but would also make you appear a bit more informed.

been out of the loop lately do to missionary and me having a MAC, has there been a schedule determained when it will be on? i love the idea of a cheat free gaming even if i cant play on the MOB server. but would love to come visit when i can...Its embarrasing coming in and being kicked for not having it i feel like a Cheater and most ppl dont know i have a mac..

Do you have any clue why he wasn't using it? Or are you just opening your bitch mouth? You should check first before you come on here and say something like that. I'm embarrased for you.
If we make it mandatory, you won't be playing on MOB much longer. It is well known the server would remain empty for most of the day because not everyone will download it.
he said he was using it but the console wouldnt recongize it. so therefore he was not using it correctly or at all. only one that would know would be Busta. and FYI i want missionary mandatory asap so situtions like this dont happen.

Had you seen the list of players a few maps before you would have seen my name, I was using missionary the whole time but for some reason stopped showing my name. So put away your jump-to-conlcusions mat, it obviously doesn't work. This is the first time this has happened to me since missionary has been out and you play enough on our servers to have seen my name in that list before, so it seems like you're reaching as far as you can to denounce missionary here.

Well I wish I would of caught this topic before it got out of hand.
I was on the server today when this happened.
I checked CI when Col. Mustard mentioned Busta not showing up as using Missionary. On CI it showed busta as using it, for what ever reason it didn't didn't show up in the chat messages.

i see that as i solution if MOB members are not going to use, but as it has been pointed out i was mistaken. the only reason i said that was becuase i thought Busta was not using missiionary. Im sorry.

Agreed, an e-mail would have been far more appropriate than calling out one of our guys on our forums.
i think your right old man. even though i'm not in mob you do not cll out mob members saying the cheat, not using missionary, ect. rember you are a geust of their server and they can ask you to leave at any time or just kick and ban you

Because we know what happened with Busta. You don't. Like Druid said noone is forcing you to play here, this is our website and our server. That is how we can dictate policy and implement our own ideas. Thanks for being a "regular".
Mustard you should know Busta is legit anyways. The many times you have played on here have you ever once suspected him of cheating. It has never crossed my mind he was cheating once. Busta plays on here and really doesnt say alot. Most of the one's who are cheating come on the server with a bad attitude from the get go and run their mouth at will for example Krispy Kreme, Bob Dole, UNTOUCHABLE. He is legit. This missionary verification has happened to me several times..

Mustard, i think you are losing sight of the fact that this is a game played for FUN. If you are getting so riled up and paranoid about a game, i think it may be good for you to take a month off MOHAA or something. Dont let this game become something that causes more stress than it relieves.

LOL, yeah it has crossed my mind to be quite honest with you. When I started playing this game I was blown away how high the scores were. I played MOB servers and was hooked. The players on MOB were the best I had seen and in my eyes Oppression was the best at the time. Not saying you were or have ever cheated. You quite honestly had my number
I couldnt move with out getting spawn killed. The others at the time were Clan Killa, ProjectShadow, JEWKILLA, Epacy, Cypher, Bitch Killa,Real Deal, Druid, MaximumV, Shelby, Rican Killa ,Raven, then NIXON, and one suspected cheater at the time that was with MOB was {MOB} Pvt.Ryan. I really never thought he was legit. Not being an asshole in my opinion he was running cham skins. Beer called him out one day and he threatened to ban him. Well I felt that the truth hurt and he finally disapeared. Him and his cheating friend Jayque never came back after that. I guess you guys caught him cheating and that was the end of it. He was really the only one I knew was hacking. With Missionary, I know you guys are legit. The missionary program that Bart has put out takes a little more time to get on the servers but if you get called out for cheating you can laugh in their face. I had that issue this morning myself. Dirty Harry said I was hacking , cheating aimbot, so on and so on when I was verified he just up and play resumed. Opp hehe I know you dont hack.. heheZillah
