I updated to this version today and ran into a problem. It says the exe is not valid and to redownload missionary. After doing that i ran into the same problem after I updated to this version again. Please help.

Are you sure you're running Missionary? Because it would look bad if you don't. It wouldn't be fair for you to not use Missionary.

Hey man I ran into the same problem so what I did is downloaded the earlier version that is on this site and it is running fine I am just not going to update till it gets fixed.

Definately is a problem with this version. Do not update until a newer version comes out. Those of you who updated and are getting the error, reinstal the previous version.

i just went to iw websit and downloaded the full version of missionary and it included the newest update and it works

just dled the newest version also...gettin that exe exception or w/e...so rollin back to an older version,

For me about 25% of the time when missionary does an auto-update I run into problems. The fix has always been to uninstall missionary and download a full copy of the new version.

Hey Gentlemen,
Be sure to use some of Missionaries features. Under Tool/Help you will find a feature called Shutdown Processes. this will bring up a screen and tell you what you are running. Just double click on the processes you want to shut down while you play and it will shut them down. upon exiting Missionary they will start back up.
This will stop alot of most ppls lag. If not do the world famous MSCONFIG. to shut down unwanted processes running in the background.
also I have found that Teamspeak couses unwanted processer spikes that couse lag.We are addressing that issue.

You guys just get off the short bus? I have never ever had a problem with missionary. Best thing is to pay attention and read while installing. Be advised, if you download a newer version of missionary, you will still have the old on on your computer. Make sure you not clicking the old .exe short cut. that's my case anyway. Goodluck.
