Has this changed recently?
I know the walk speed used to be the same as CKR, but I thought it had been changed to equal that of the STG a few months ago. Was it reverted back to the orginal speed (= to CKR) or has it always been that way?

We made it so that you moved slower Benny to give the other players a chance.

I originally had it the same as the STG but a lot of people asked to have it slowed down a little ( to use to CKR I guess )
The current walk speeds are
STG .89
Bar .85

It seems to me as well like it has been slowed down as of late. I wouldn't mind seeing it evened out a touch more.

Druid and I talked about this a while back and my feeling was that if we were going to advertise an equal weapons mod then the walk speed should be equal as well. I think Druid made them exactly even and people complained so he changed it a bit.

I also agree that the bar speed is a hair to slow.

Maybe we should start a vote on this because I would also like to see them equal

Guys the walk speed hasn't changed for almost a year.
The last change was to remove the link to the missing grenade drop aninmation and the only other change in the last almost year was to remove the reload animation on the Kar98 to stop the random delays during semi-auto fire.
If I was going to change the walk speed I would probably split the difference between the bar and stg versus raising the bar up to the stg.

Well if your going to lower the STG to the level of the bar, I would rather leave it how it is.

as would I, stg is fine where it is
